But wouldn't that make getting average rank on the easy files way to fast and cheap? Like idk it would be cool to have rate scores submit but i think it would cause too many side effects.

It would just eliminate the drudgery of going back and aaa’ing songs <50 ish difficulty. So, yes, more people would be motivated to climb the avg rank rank leaderboards. However, I think this would be a good thing for the game.

If there are other side effects, I really would like to bring them to light.
Otherwise, I don't see a downside in making about half the game more enjoyable for other players.

We didn't buy the "well we had to AAA legacy files" argument back in the day before those were removed from ranks.
