2022 FFR User Awards - Voting

Welcome to the 2022 FFR User Awards!

For those of you that remember, we used to host annual forum awards that presented our community the opportunity to vote for users in various categories. This is essentially a continuation of that, but as a reflection of a community as a whole and not just within the forums.

Below you will find a list of guidelines, categories, and where to vote.

Guidelines

-These rewards are based off of user activity across the entire FFR website and the Official FFR Discord server in the year 2022.

-Your FFR account needs to be at least three months old to be eligible to vote.

-The person you vote for needs to have an FFR account that was made in 2022 or earlier. They also must have shown activity in 2022. (The 2022 activity rule does not apply to the "Most Missed" category.)

-When voting for a user you need to use their FFR username in order for the vote to count.

-You do not need to fill out a vote for every category, but you can only fill out this form once. (You can't use a different account to vote again.)

-You may vote for yourself.

-Serious votes only, please.

To vote, fill out this Google form.

Similar to the Hall of Fame voting process, you will need an e-mail to log in with. If you don't prefer this method then you may send me a PM with your votes. Just make sure to format your responses carefully and to make eligible responses for the categories that call for them. (Such as FFR Staff, Simfile Artists, Musicians, and FFR files.) Do not place any votes within this thread.

Voting will be open until February 15th at 11:59 PM server time. I plan on announcing the results within the next day or two.

Also to be serious, I'm a little surprised there is still no TWG category. It's been a part of FFR forums for a long time.

If I remember right, TWG awards were a separately hosted thing. Pretty sure that was done at least once years ago. Someone more familiar with TWG can absolutely start that up again, though!

TWG just has nothing to do with FFR. The forums are just a good spot for people to host their TWG games on, but I dont see any reason to integrate TWG stuff to the "official" FFR events.

Well, to be honest, I just associated this event with the "forum awards", but that's not quite what it is...

A question was asked about the "Most Missed" category and the rule regarding activity being needed in 2022. That category is the exception for this rule, so you can vote for any FFR user from any point in time for that one. I'll clarify this in the front post and form as well.

Does the Best FFR Musician category refer to artists with music in the game, or the best musician who's also a user?

The latter. It's a list of users with an FFR account that had at least one song stepped and put in the game in 2022.

The names provided on the form are as atributed to the FFR files in 2022. For the most part, it isn't the same as their FFR username.

It's only you know, it's own thing, that like, has a long standing history on the site

it's own section of the forum or something

I wouldn't really mind it tbh, but imo it doesn't make sense in this event. Pardon my poor wording "TWG just has nothing to do with FFR" since that's wrong. It definitely is a big part of FFR forums, however it has nothing to do with the game or the general community. TWG people definitely could host their own awards.

Good catch! I have no idea how I missed that but after double checking and re-counting all of the files, it appears to have been the only one. It's on the form now.
