Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
YEAH, GO DAYMAN!
Go-go-go! I think instead of doing that, the 2nd place winner should get something equally as the 1st place winner. But that would require more good will and people giving free stuff, lol. |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Omfg I am shaking so much right now.
I have lots to worry about over the next couple days, so this is a little relief. No longer the cutoff, phew. But I have no idea how the next round will turn out... |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
I'm just going to patiently wait for the final song and do my best while still finishing my online school stuff (need to have a ton of work done by the end of next week, big pressure)
once tourney's done as well as school being taking care of, then I can focus more on rigorous stepmania training for a while good luck to y'all who are still competing

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Since the predictions thread is closed, I'll post my tournament predictions here.
D1 1st: NeoMasterPie <--- nice score gap!!!11!!11!oneone 2nd: Skeelie 3rd: megaman108 4th: KrazyKitsune 5th: dancemanmasta9876 D2 1st: The~J~MaXx <--- already predicted him 1st early in the tournament when I saw he had teens on Since 1983, haha 2nd: Acid Dropplet 3rd: ReikonKeiri 4th: JJTrixX 5th: HobobotheClown D3 1st: Crazyjayde 2nd: Salitz 3rd: rebelrunner26 4th: HellsRequiem <--- did very strong the past rounds, but I think this is where he gets out. He's not that far from safety, but both Salitz and rebelrunner are tied. 5th: 25thhour D4 1st: Novelties <--- he's commented on my wall a few times, I've also seen him pull off really good scores... I definitely think he's going to win this. 2nd: AD4M-V 3rd: DayMan951 4th: noname219 5th: Kukulaka D5 1st: powerfull 2nd: RagedBerserker <--- Definitely has a chance at 1st place, he's gotten crazy good FGO scores. Then again poewrfull has landed 5 clean this round, not a huge difference but definitely will be close. 3rd: Frank Munoz 4th: ddrkid007 5th: bob bob D6 1st: TC_Halogen <--- I think next round will hit hard on samurai's and Alex's weaknesses. We'll just have to see how things turn out, though. 2nd: samurai7694 3rd: AlexDest 4th: xXOpkillerXx 5th: Zyphoror |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Am I the only one that finds the D5 song harder than the D6 song?

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Maybe overall. System Doctor's difficulty concentration is heavily focused towards the end and the middle where there's a lot of 32nd roll transitions while Hero Reconsidering has a more balanced difficulty across the file.

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
It's harder for me overall.. the first 75% or so of System Doctor is boring as hell. But bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh the ****ing ending is impossible.

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Random sidenote: Novelties was almost the exact same skill level as me when the tourney began. Also if I was in D4 I would take 4th (took 7th in D5)
and D5's song is much easier than D6's.. idk what you're talking about elite >.>

imo this case goes by how EP's case is. EP is fast and hard, and continues to increase in difficulty. Then you get to the climax of 32nd jumpstream with a pretty consistent ~20 NPS, and a spike to 31 NPS in-between it all. Here is where you can either do it, or you can't. Hero Recondblahabsldh... is kinda the same. While Sys. Doc. is manageable for a mid guru for the first half, and.. well, basically what Doss said, "System Doctor's difficulty concentration is heavily focused towards the end and the middle where there's a lot of 32nd roll transitions while Hero Reconsidering has a more balanced difficulty across the file."

Yay, got my internet yesterday but couldn't play FFR til now (I only have 1½ hour right now). Except, I'm exhausted right now and need to sleep so I'm retiring from this and you guys over the line don't have to worry about me at this point. I'll take 4th or 5th, thanks.
Also, Crazyjayde, iiiishhh. >:3

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Man, it's almost to the final round.
I hope 18 of you are ready or more if there's a ninja, dohoho. The final chart is going to be released in less than 6 hours. The only question is... who's going to take the gold for each division? Here's my pre-last round thoughts. For D1, the choice is obvious who's going to be taking the gold medal this year. It's NeoMasterPie! Unfortunately there's no one else in D1 that looks like they can take on NeoMasterPie, in fact I don't think there's any D2-4 people that can take him on... well maybe the people D4 at this very moment, but that's another story. For D2, it's hard to figure out who's going to take gold here. I'm going to have to say it could be all 3 of them at this point. But if I had to choose, I would pick the 3rd place player, ReikonKeiri, and have him destroy the final rounds chart leaving the other 2 players left in the dust. Though The~J~MaXx could swipe my prediction ten-fold from the scores he's been getting. And lets not forget about Acid Dropplet who ninjas on here, plays for a bit, gets a score, and then swiftly goes away with amazing scores. For D3, again it's hard to figure out since the top 3 are so evenly matched at the moment. I would have to pick the current person that's in 1st. He's got some pretty impressive FMO scores in his level ranks that could rival some D4 players. But what's to see the other players in top three can't sneak up behind him and take his place? We'll soon find out, now won't we? D4, Novelties is a very tough opponent to compete against with Adam being close in skill with Novelties and Dayman. All three of them have skillboosted so much that I can't even touch the scores they've been achieving for these tourney files. But then again, I was knocked out so haven't really played the chart mass amounts of times to perfect it, heh. I'm going to guess the gold place winner though would be Adam. He's definitely the unpredictable player pulling fast ones that make my head spin. But Novelties could beat him at his own game, and maybe even Dayman. For D5, I know that powerfull has been wrecking the leaderboards lately, but my faith goes to RagedBeserker. Maybe a bit biased because he's a funny guy to talk to, but I'm guessing he's the one to take the gold for D5 this year. But I think if the final chart for D5 is speedy with not that many complex patterns going on, I think Frank has a good shot as well. For D6... man... I can only imagine. My guess would have to be TC_Halogen though. Samurai has a strong possibility to win this knowing his past records, but I think that burning desire to win a tournament for Halogen will make him go through and dominate D6 in the final bout. Alex though could be sneaky and take his place, but we won't know until then. |
