random song feature request

i love using the random song feature but I think it would be cool if you could take out only songs that you have AAA'd. I find it annoying when i keep getting easy songs that i AAA'd but there are some very low difficulty songs I haven't AAA'd so I don't want to take out any certain difficulties

I was talking about this earlier in MP.

Random can have many more restrictive features. So can autofail.

I don't use either at all though.

right now i'm just playing on difficulty 8-12 even though there are a lot below 8 i haven't AAA'd

At best, I'd suspect we could get a more robust filter such that if you put in a difficulty range in the random fields, the full list could auto-sort away the ones outside the range, so you could set a difficulty and then just select your song.

If you want to play easy songs for AAAs and random is getting you easy songs you've already AAA'd, you might try just opening another tab or window to your levelranks page and looking up the names of songs you want to try to AAA.

Making the random function be able to query each individual user's level stats and individually filter away AAA'd songs would almost certainly hammer on the database way too much.
