yeah dude tapes are still huge. they kinda never really fell "out of fashion" because they're the easiest way to release music physically. so they're kind of a staple for music with small fanbases like harsh noise or anything like that

but lately they've been gettin popular again so
i guess that's why that album happened
i'm mad i bought it but it's limited edition so i'll probably just never play it and save it for resell

What exactly do you mean by physical? I guess CDs don't count because they are digital files? Or would CDs count because they are a physical object. In which case I think a flash drive would be the easiest physical thing to release something on.

Sharpnel estimates ダブルダッチ (SRPC-0002) is limited to 40 copies all sold on one day at a party in 1998 and he lost the original files due to a hard drive crash. That's not the rarest though. I have more hopes for getting ダブルダッチ than I do for the other two I still need because there's also Episode:01 (PGCD-01) which was made in 1996 during his (and tanigon's/vicon's) highschool years, neither of them have it anymore and then there's フロム・ザ・ハート (SRPC-0002.5), which is an in between version of SRPC-0002 and 0003, limited to 5-10 copies. All of these have gone lost in that same hard drive crash. I'm just gonna keep looking for them though
