Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Signups are open!
So excited for this! Tournaments are always a good motivation for getting better scores on songs you may not play very much. Spread the hype! lol

Just wondering. What do the medals look like anyways? Are you allowed to show us or is that part of the surprise?

Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Signups are open!
A few comments:
- I kinda feel it would be better to just give out all 3 support tokens as a set - coming in a top place in ANY division is very difficult, and since there's no obvious other way to get the tokens right now, it seems like it would just be kinda frustrating to only get one or two. The credit prizes and medals are enough to distinguish between how well someone did. - Related: again, even in a lower division it's still very difficult to place in the top few spots, so I think the 1st/2nd/3rd place medals should be given to all of the divisions. - If we're going to be using combo scoring, please try not to use songs with significant difficulty spikes that make the file difficult to FC even if you can PA it. If I see a situation where e.g. a 100-30-0-100 beats a 50-5-3-5, the tournament won't really feel like it's based on skill as much as luck or mashing ability. I know tradition is a strong force, but I really do think we should use raw scoring for this. This looks like a sick tournament overall; I'm really excited.
