Hey hello, let’s talk about VCV Rack and have a good time shall we?

VCV Rack is a modular synthesizer program. If you don’t know what that means: VCV Rack is software designed to emulate analog synthesizers, in a way where multiple modules (which process the sound wave, or it’s voltage) sculpt an incoming signal into... well, that’s where creativity comes in. By the vagueness of that description, I mean to say that it can do a lot. Just like real modular synthesis can.

It’s free, and worth playing around in just to see if you can make anything work. Check out https://youtu.be/adiQ-WRo-NQ, or just pick on one of the channel’s videos that sound interesting to you.

It can seem like a lot of work to build something systemic and vibrant, but that’s part of the experience.
