90% of the file revolves around pitch relevancy so hopefully that doesn't make some of the patterns awkward. imo making it was more fun than playing it (not saying i think it's bad hehe)
uh its actually labeled Southern Cross 2011, if u stepped the re-mastered version, otherwise nvm

yeah it's the remaster, song name in game has v2 on it because there's already a file in ffr, though it's the old 2003 version.

I understand, It brought me to an idea though.. what if a song is called for example ''the orange song'' and instead of yellow syndrome you have ''orange sydrome'' would that be acceptable? seems like a good idea to me.. and I've already seen some simfiles with only blue arrows.

The simfiles you mention that have blue arrows are legacy files. The blue note syndrome was forced from the dwi converter.

Counting Snow is a file with all white notes, but don't force that kind of color theory just because the song has a color in its name. That would be like me finding an 8 minute song with the words madness, rage, fury, or some other synonym in its title and step the last 30 second buzzes as 64th walls because it "illustrates rage".

It's called color theory when notes are intentionally colored to express something in a song other than their interval.

As Dossar said, Counting Snow is an example of this. But it's actually the only example of a song entirely colored entirely one way and it works because it's so short and easy. Otherwise offsetting a file by 1/32nd is going to be an eyesore and a bad idea 99% of the time.

when does it become too much though? I am working on a song where there is no clear bassline and the sounds constantly change making the bpm very unstable so to speak. thats why it somtimes has parts where there is alot of orange arrows sometimes alot of green arrows and sometimes alot of red/blue/yellow arrows when do you say ''it has -insert color- syndrome ?

im gonna be pedantic and point out that Tower, Reaper, Strategem, and We Interrupt This Program (AG Flash Floor Mix) are all red, though not for color theory reasons :P

usually this is just indicative of having the bpm totally wrong
or it's live music and thus has a fluctuating bpm, and you're basically screwed trying to sync it unless you have a lot of time and are really good at syncing with DDReam (read: not worth the trouble)

Don't forget to consider that the batch began around mid-July, so he could actually submit up to 4 files, since 2 periods have gone by.

Yes, unfortunately your file was booted in the end. It will be part of the next set of 120 files.
