like the 1bil/day challenge is mashing the same cycle of songs for like 22 hours in order to get another mashing song
like seriously, i admire your perseverance/motivation but wonder what the hell you're really doing it for

someone answer this, i really have no idea
are the bragging rights really worth the full day?

Well it's a goal like any other and some don't have serious motives at all, they just want to have fun, nothing wrong about that.

Part of it might also be to experience what it's like to get that much grandtotal in a day. If I ever attempted a grandtotal challenge, it would be 1.5 billion in 24 hours without using Vertex Beta vrofl (which is absurd and if it's ever going to be done, it'll certainly be a close call considering you'd need intense files and you have almost no break time).

Me neither. Trying to place in the tournament or scoring one bil a day requires so much motivation solely for an absurd token song. I'd rather have fun with FFR while aiming for a goal that is inevitably achieveable by all. This is why I think attempting the 50 bil GT is the best way of earning vrofl. Never had I ever had intentions of getting 50 bil GT... all of that playing was out of my fun.

I don't know if it's possible to unlock Freedom Dive instead of vrofl if I end up getting 50 bil (probably years from now).

Also, good luck in the tournament for those that are participating.

This is true and it makes me sad

The skill range for D6 is so massive that there is a wide range of players who will never even have a chance at earning a top 8 spot. I think they should at least split D6 into D6a and D6b and give top 4 in each the tokens, or maybe even a D6a D6b D6c D6d and give to top two. That way everyone in D6 will have a similar chance to get tokens. This could be implemented in other divisions too but i think D6 needs it the most.
