Re: Minesweeper
No offense, but those aren't great scores. I have 3 seconds for Beginner, 29 for Intermediate, and 120 seconds for Expert. I haven't played in a while, though.
Edit: Here's an Intermediate game I just played. Last edited by 09876; 02-19-2008 at 10:17 PM.. |

Re: Minesweeper
7 for beginner, 40 on intermediate, 150 on expert. I've been trying to see how many mines I can do on the smallest board possible. I've done 27 mines on the 8x8 board and got stuck on 28. I've also tried as many mines as possbile on the expert sized board. I think I'm at 170, but I forget.
edit: oh, I'm on a laptop. I forget whether my times were done on the touchpad or a mouse. I usually don't have one connected.

Re: Minesweeper
Fast times on Beginner are more about luck than skill. Yeah, it does take some skill, but all the skill in the world won't help you plow through a bad draw. Especially times like 1~3 seconds. That's all about getting lucky.
I've got all my scores scattered across many computers, but the best ones I got here are 9 on Beginner and 82 on Intermediate. I know my best beginner overall is at least 8, and I think my best Intermediate I've gotten is 80 or lower. Never bothered to take the time to beat Expert on this computer, but I've beaten it a few times at work. Something like 300 something or higher. Definitely poor score on Expert because it's hard to minimize to perform my duties, then come back later and get back into it. I'd try for some real serious scores on my home machine now that work has made me get a bit better, but my mouse is broken and the middle click is ****ed up and hard to use. Then again, the mouse on the primary computer at work doesn't even have middle click. WHATEVER.
