Talking Re: Death Note

Death Note is awsome, and i want to buy a note book that looks like the death note, if anyone knows where i can get 1, plz tell me.

i am up to episode 32 and im still in shock about ruzaki dying. I dont like the new story about Near and Mello, even though its cool, its not as good as the old 1 ( light and ruzaki, the intellectual battle of the century, playing for there lives).

At first I thought I didn't like the ending, however the intense failure of manipulation of a scale that decides life or death and his reaction at the end was pretty crazy.

Still didn't like the Near character, though. L was way more interesting.

Death Note in my opinion was a pretty good anime, receiving a seven on my complicated rating scale. It seemed to get a little slow from episode 12 on up to 20, where it started to climb again, and then became my obsession with the big event that happened in episode 25. I really hate how it ended, but I'm not going to spoil anything, as there are some people who haven't seen the whole series

Also, I'm surprised how many people are willing to watch anime on YouTube in eye-cancer quality and pathetic 320x240 resolution.
Why not download the anime in full quality in 640x480 or 704x400 resolution?

EDIT:

Simple. Buy a black binding notebook at Wal-Mart (not the spiral kind, get the kind with the black tape for binding). Take a Sharpie marker and blacken out the parts that say "Wal-Mart" or "70 pages" and so on. Finally, summon your master penmanship and write the words "DEATH NOTE" at the top with a white permanent marker. That's how I made all three of mine. One time I had one with a pencil at my side, and a friend pissed me off, so I whipped it out, and he's like "OH MY GOD THEY'RE REAL!!"

I'm glad you didn't spoil anything, crash. Others have neglected to use the spoil tag to describe episodes :-l I wish they left the theme song alone. I didn't like the 2nd season one.

Hint my avatar. I had to order it over the internet to get it, though I'm pretty sure you can find one locally. Either way, be prepared to spend about $30.

I got mine in one of those anime conventions. Go to one and buy one. $20.

Also, www.veoh.com is the place to go for anime. It's where I saw Death Note.

Now I'm watching the dubbed version on my TV. I like the dubbed one as well. The voices still fits the characters as well (especially Ryuk's).

The voices bother me in the dub, especially Misa's and Rem's. Ryuk's is pretty good though.

Juicy?

Yeah, the Dubbed Light sounds like some geeky 40-year-old who lives with his mom.

I never found it possible to watch dubbed Death Note because Light's voice sounds like one of the kids from ClueFinders. It does not suit him at all.

I wouldn't be able to judge his voice because I watched it on TV for about 5 episodes then decided "This is crap!" and switched to Saiyuki Reload

There's the whole manga series if you feel like reading it. I watched the whole series and was disappointed. I didn't like the episodes on the Yotsuba Corporation, they just seemed really boring. The introduction of Misa was cool. I especially like how the anime developed Matt's character so well =\

Didn't like the ending, I'm always a fan of anti-heroes. Oh, and episode 25 totally caught me by surprise, foot massages sure turned the episode sour.

The manga is better than the anime, no doubt in my mind.

And Scorpio that Yotsuba Corporation is kinda boring the manga too...

It ended over the summer I think.

Death Note lost its uh.. "magic"... after L died for me, personally. I just waited for the last episode or two, and they were disappointing. I mean, if anyone here who has also watched Elfen Lied; it has a similar ending (last episode) but at least the rest of the show was great. Death Note just sort of dragged on after L died, and it just.. wasn't as great.

I think the second last episode had a good climactic build up, but the last episode just sucked.

From what I've watched, Death Note reminds me of a game of chess. But instead of pieces, they use words. And in place of your king getting toppled over, there's death.

Also: I've always prefered to watch dubbed rather than subbed. I don't exactically like reading words while watching shows.

Ok I need someone to explain something to me concerning an event.

The episode where, well, the big incident happens, L does that weird thing where he ends up drying off Light's feet and what-not...can someone kinda explain that scene, in context of both the anime and if there are any world ties to it or something.
