Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 5
At least it's not Zanthro style bursts lmfao. Itd be a d7 song if that was the case.

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 5
>broken layering scheme
>variable bursts >mini jacks mixed in yeah uhh no I would honestly rather be jumptrilling to zanthro's or mi40's charts (which is still a foreign concept to my brain because I keep trying to actually hit the patterns as they are thanks to stepman)

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 5
For rolls I generally jumptrill them but only if they are fast enough. Like in Amber shores the slow rolls I can hit normally with perfect accuracy most of the time but the fast ones I pretty much have to jumptrill. I kinda feel like to improve though I should practice hitting them without jumptrilling to just get faster overall. But idk I feel like as long as you can get perfects, you should just hit them however is the easiest for you.

Anyone else thinks that D4 song is harder than D5 one?

On the other hand, Amber Shores felt like it was perfectly stepped and framefixed. I'm confused at its leaderboard to be honest. |

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 5
I've been scoring pretty much about the same on both D4 and D5's files this round. For me D4 only really has one difficult part, and D5 is longer and more difficult to keep accuracy. I drop a lot of goods at once if I'm off rhythm even a little bit. But I do agree that D4s file is very difficult.

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 5
Ringo's Tea Party does seem like quite an unfortunately single-skill file to determine who gets vROFL: "here's token if u can split jumptrill"
Then again D4's last round was the same way: "here's token if u can split jumpjack" I can't wait to see what D4 gets the next few rounds

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 5
Just curious, is my score for Meteor Lights going to apply to the tourney? It lagged so I did unrecorded score, got:
69,985 1384 33 1 3 3 1060 I mean, its applied to my levelranks, tourney score still shows the lower score though. It's no big deal, but my score would put me in 7th instead of 8th :P |

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 5
If for any reason a score does not record, take a screenshot AND save a replay after you have restored connectivity. That way, I can definitively verify that you did obtain that score. I will not be adding scores without this form of proof.
Damn, gonna post it here as well incase (for big titanvx as well)... Guess I'm gonna have to keep grinding, didn't record a replay :/ |

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 5
I do want that #1 spot, but I don't enjoy playing the tourney songs anymore :/ I hate jacks and stuff in the songs, I'd rather do bursts, jumpstream, streams etc.
I'll keep playing Nuclear Blast, somehow I recently got 88% on Still Blastin 1.1x rate, no idea how lol. I want that t-shirt so bad, im gonna get it and get it covered with cheeto stains first day I have it Last edited by Dinglesberry; 07-26-2016 at 08:42 AM.. |

It's more so when it switches between bursts and jacks, like at the drop of Meteor Lights.. I have no clue how the first person in D3 got 15 good clean o_O |

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 5
I'm horrible at jacks as well. I can try to find you a song that plays like your file. i havent played like any songs this tourney other than my division and maybe D6 and like one or two of D7s
