10/10 but I don't have perfect pitch. i have relative pitch and could guess the notes from recognizing c#

Re: perfect/absolute pitch
did u play the c# thing at the top or do u just know what c# sounds like and know the intervals? I'm awful at intervals I just know what every individual pitch sounds like.

Re: perfect/absolute pitch
I know what C sounds like (didn't use the note things above, didn't even know they were there ha), so I bump that up a semitone in my head to get c# lol. Intervals come easy to me yeah.

Mostly F but I will sometimes forget what the pitch is so i'm not as accurate as I should be. Especially since I'm a music major. I envy all those with perf. pitch.

Re: perfect/absolute pitch
I initially had B flat memorized cuz its the concert band tuning pitch. Then I had A and C memorized. Then I took songs that I know the starting pitch of and memorize in that fashion. Eventually with enough practice I was just able to know every note. I got "perfect pitch" with practice I think anyone has the ability to get it. I was a music minor but I dropped it now I'm just a math major.

Re: perfect/absolute pitch
I do have absolute pitch and I can tell what note a sound is not just from musical instruments but other things as well (speeding up while driving sounds like a chromatic scale going up, [just now] dropping my empty water bottle sideways against my table sounds like a B to me). I'm able to pick up musical notes from anywhere pretty much, as well as being able to tell what key a song is in, and I find it annoying when I download a movie and the whole movie is up/down by even a half step. It drives me nuts lol.
so yea 10/10 I will say that knowing the note is instantaneous but it takes me just a few seconds longer to figure out exactly where it is in the piano and the proper name (however, C4/middle C sticks out to me immediately so I just base it off whether it sounds higher or lower to find out the number).

Re: perfect/absolute pitch
I have relative pitch. Having played the violin for about eight years allowed me to develop a strong idea of what the open strings G, D, A, and E sounds like. I play piano very often, so I recognize what C sounds like as well. Scored 10/10.

Re: perfect/absolute pitch
10/10, I've never knew what were the letters of the notes, I only know the sounds. Had to check the first sample (B3) just to make sure if the note I'm thinking of is the one that's actually correct. Relative pitch, I guess?

Re: perfect/absolute pitch
9/10, noticed I forgot to do a column, fixed to 10/10. I have some sense of relative pitch but it's something that takes a lot of thought for me and it's quite a process >.<
