Combo or raw scoring?
What scoring FFR should use in the future? Should we stay with combo scoring or move to raw scoring?
Just a poll to see what are the percentages.

maybe the combo scoring formula should just be adjusted then, kind of making it more balanced (like a hybrid) between the two.

Really really not sure about an hybrid scoring system. The formula may work in theory, but in practice we're not sure unless we thoroughly test it. I'm in favor of raw scoring since it has proven to be very reliable over the years.

Raw scoring is a better display of skills when it comes to rankings, I'm for it. A 3000 boo run on Pants shouldn't beat a 0-0-1-0 with the miss right in the middle.

Raw scoring with the caveat that once an FC always an FC.
So if you FC a chart but later get a better raw score, you retain the better raw score as your score but also retain an FC on it as well. Or should you FC something you hadn't previously FC'd, but it's not as good as your best raw score, then you keep your best raw score but also gain the FC. It would be understood that a non-FC score next to an FC marker would mean they FC'd it with another score which wasn't as good as their current score.

I was going to make a long post about why we need to change avg rank to raw scoring. But meh.
We could even have 2 sets of level ranks for raw scoring and combo scoring. But really we should just forget about combo scoring because it is horribly flawed and a terrible way to score in this game. |

I voted for raw scoring.
Anyways, the issue with implementing raw scoring as the new normal method of recording scores apparently has to do with the amount of data it would require to make that change. Supposedly FFR's server (where scores are retained) doesn't have a lot of room from what I've recently heard... |
