Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Except it's way underpowered in B.O. MW2 is basically one shot(well three) in B.O it's 2, sometimes 3.

Right now, I'm at level 9 after about an hour of playing last night. I ended up playing some zombies with Shortboyownz, and we made it to about round 17 or so. It was pretty fun, despite the random guy who kept dying on us.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Uh oh something is more powerful or less powerful than it was in a different game. That means it's unbalanced right? If MW2 came out after BOPS I bet you'd be saying the rifle is overpowered in MW2. I don't see anything wrong with that gun at all. Also guns aren't underpowered in hardcore, the point of hardcore is just every gun kills you faster. I think you need to brush up on your definition of OP and UP.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Overpowered means the gun is too powerful for the game. An example is the noob tube and arguable akimbo G18's. These weapons (at least in my opinion) made it FAR too easy to kill anybody cause you had to aim in a GENERAL direction and the opponent would be dead in seconds. OP is like a Dodge Neon racing a Lambo, not guns being more or less powerful from game to game. That's just the developers changing up the mechanics.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
IMO, I thought G18's weren't that overpowered, the recoil like forces you to use akimbo, and they don't do that well if you don't use stopping power. Or that could just be me, because I'm a stopping power whore, it's the only second perk I ever used.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Recoil is so much easier to control with a mouse though. On PC if somebody has G18's it's a cone of instant death even from quite a distance.

Becoming 2nd prestige today! If I plan this out right I can become 15th prestige sometime in January.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
While I was reaching 50 as an unprestiged player, I used this setup which led to the 2+ KDR..
Famas; Silencer Strela-30 (for taking out enemy attack helicopters and choppers, I was a big TDM player) Ghost Sleight of Hand; Pro Marathon Now I prestiged and I've been playing hardcore search and destroy with a bunch of random guns like the M16 red dot sight and MP5k for rushing. |

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops
Now that I've hit level 19, I've been playing HCS&D with the M14 with reflex and silencer or the AK-74u with a silencer. Neither of these might be your cup of tea, but it's worth a try.
