I was going to run one again D:

bunch of complaints on the forums about wiz it seems, firebird set is still the only way to grift easily

I'm also assuming that literally everything gets wiped for the next season and I'll be sticking with what I know (dh lol)

Yeah there's still very, very little build diversity in the game, and wizards have arguably the least of all classes. Monks have a few options that are good.

Blizzard showed off a new Wizard and Barbarian class at Blizz Con but apparently they aren't ready yet. Rumour is they'll be included in the season 3 patch, but at the rate Blizzard patches the game now that'll be in like 6 months

Picked up and started playing my diablo 3 for PS3 again, I don't have the expansion version :L

went from lvl41 to paragon 5 since I posted in here

There's not really much to do after you get max level on ps3/360. You should go buy Reaper of Souls so you at least have bounties and rifts to do haha

So basically nothing changed then?

I don't have huge complaints about wiz, other than lack of build diversity. I like the fact you can gear them up really quickly and the build isn't gimped by not having to get an ultra rare item (Like tasker was for DH; Furnace is really unnecessary with a good sunkeeper).

But, yeah, they're kind of bad compared to some of the other class options. I hope they get buffed.

I might run a WD but I really hate the fact that most of their builds rely on either Tasker or SMK, both of which are hell to get.

Ironically last season I got an INT one by accident when I wanted a dex one for my DH but it worked out anyway, breakpoint was all the mattered anyway unless you were min/maxing. I wonder how gimped they'll be now though that you have to fire spenders. Haven't even thought about how to get around that one effectively. Seems like if anything it just gimps lower level builds but might not affect much at high level ones (and I've never been able to run a 4.X breakpoint lightning build so not sure if it would even change that at all)

against all odds I actually went out & bought RoS today (mostly to spike my brother's friend since he gives a million shits about me & my budgeting, even though he only needs to worry about the rent I pay which I'm never late on. xD)

I currently don't have too much money to work with this week even if I get D3 and not the expansion right away, just wondering if it's worth in the eyes of a WoW player (granted before that came out we used to play D2 a shit ton of times)

Damn you leveled up fast. Only got to 29 last night because of how late the season started here. I'll see if I can get to 70 tonight when I get home. Decided to go with DH, interested to see how it'll turn out. Might start a monk later when I can just powerlevel one.

Yeah I stayed up way later than I wanted to last night getting to 70. Took like 6 hours because my group had no idea what they were doing at first.

DH/Monk group combo is super powerful, so once you get to 70 I can help you gear and we can easily do higher torment levels
