Re: Dominion Thread
the games last night were really, really fun
the first two especially they featured tiloco, inD and myself all doing 3 different things that all worked relatively equally well, ending in very, very close games. 60-61-62 has got to be about as close as a 3 player game can get once the late-game rolls around

Re: Dominion Thread
we rolled alchemy cards in each of the first three games above, iirc
only one copy of one (philosopher's stone) was gained/bought across all three games and tiloco never got to play it the power level of those cards just does not seem worth it when you're rolling a setup from ~anything in dominion Last edited by inDheart; 06-15-2018 at 10:14 PM.. |

Re: Dominion Thread
ime cards from alchemy are really good or really bad

Re: Dominion Thread
during a normally pretty boring game, due to a polite oracleing, the four player game of tiloco, xiz, storn and myself turned into a team game of 2v2. We would combine our victory points at the end. Storn and myself were team Witch, Xiz and tiloco were team Oracle. Each team could not gain the card of the other team's name, xiz and tiloco had oracles and storn and I had witches coincidentally at this point in the game. It turned into a really, really fun game and I highly recommend team dominion in the future. We talked about a few rules, and we'd definitely have to have staggered seating which we didn't have tonight, but it was absolutely a blast.

It could be interesting with attack heavy setups but definitely needs to be drafted for teams specifically imo

The difference here is bank was in the game, which made getting that high number of money in one turn a true reality. I think he could've gotten another one if there were 6 in the pile still, but there wasn't. |

Re: Dominion Thread
Was pretty great seeing it though! Did not expect the game to end right there and then!

even if I had forged one less copper earlier (making the banks worth 10 and 11 instead of 9 and 10), I would've been 1 less card draw short of having everything, so I would've needed exactly either my duchy or province to be the bottom card of my deck as well as another buy entirely and unless I Discipled a city (I had no Disciples) there's no way I could've gotten that.

I've given you a discord link a few times for the channel we use, but I could do it again if you want. You just have to not let it hit 24 hours without you joining otherwise the link dies.
