Ok played this with 19 people on a different forum recently, was pretty interesting. They hate master wolves so they weren't pleased with that role but people on here seem to like those. i'll just copy/paste roles and stuff to see if theres an interest but it does seem a bit ambitious on this site.

It can be played with 18 people as well instead

1X Wolves Alpha Wolf with no n0 actions
3X Wolves Vanilla with no n0 actions
10X Village Vanilla with no n0 actions
1X Village Seer with an n0 action
1X Village Trollop with no n0 actions
1X Village Herbalist with no n0 actions
1X Village Lunatic with no n0 actions
1X Gypsy Gypsy with no n0 actions

Firstly, the herbalist's own house has so many other herbs in it that the wolvesbane is swamped by their scent and cannot be effectively cleansed - so the herbalist cannot use their wolvesbane to protect themself. Secondly, the need to let a house air before protecting it again means that the herbalist cannot protect the same house on two consecutive nights. Note…. Since it is wolvesbane it only protects from wolf kills…it does not protect from loon kills. There will be no PMs sent in regards to the Herbalist. You win by eliminating all wolves (not including Gypsy). You have no n0 actions.

Mayoral Election ends 5pm EST on Day 1.
Order of Operations:
Trollop/Herb/Loon/Wolf/Conversion/Seer
PMs are limited to Lunatic, Seer and Death.
Aside from wolfchat there will be no communication outside this thread.
Every day, the town chooses one person to lynch. It is then revealed whether that person is human or wolf.
At night, specials and wolves get to perform certain activities (described below)
The winning team is the team that completely kills the other team (except the humans don't have to kill the gypsy)

Special Role: The Mayor (Generally good but could be a werewolf!) - Unlike the other special characters, the Mayor is not assigned by the Moderator, but is voted in by the players on day 1. As such, the player holding the Mayor's position can also hold another special role.

The Mayor has 2x the vote power (will be calculated at EOD/not in periodic vote counts). The Mayor votes in their successor upon death via mod PM. This must be done before 5pm the next day. After that point the successor is named in the thread and their vote counts worth 2.

also a different idea that looks ridiculously funny is google translate edition: everyone gets a different language they use for the whole game, they type their post into google translate using that language. they will then copy and paste that result back into English and post that in the thread. it looks ridiculous but funny, would be a standard setup like:

1 seer
3 wolves
9 vanilla humans

apparently that setup can be played from 12-20 players, but I only found one for a 15 man setup that seems more realistic.

exact same setup as above except 7 vanilla villagers instead of 10, and 2 vanilla wolves instead of 3

and still no out of thread talk

I'm game for AIM, but we would need to check the roles for whatever game we pick. seems like out-of-thread communication can break some otherwise balanced setups.

ya like it doesn't matter to me I'll play whatever, just wouldn't host the one I listed as an AIM game so we should think of something else then, or whatever manti was planning

google translate sounds like the absolute best thing ever, but I doubt it's ideal for 16+ players.

Ok well if it gets picked I can tell ppl want out of thread talk so it just has to be on an honour system. Like if someone is caught talking to you not using translate then report them and they can be modkilled
