Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #8
It's just kinda framered nothing overly wrong with it to be honest
I really don't like charts where little frame stuff can slop up my scores |

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #8
Oh, I just realized my other chart is being used, heh. I really hope you all in D2 like it by the way. If not, then oops, guess I need to step better.

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #8
D5, I'm so sorry about the rating on Powerpoints... easily the biggest mistake I've made rating a file. The file has been changed to a 43.
With that being said, the next round is 41-43, so you shouldn't take too big of a jump for next round. |

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #8
I wanted to apologize for not really being around much this tourney, work and school has me very swamped. But a very big thanks to AJ for handling all this since I can't. As is right now I'm sitting at the laundromat doing laundry before I leave for work in a few hours doing schoolwork. -_-

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #8
I'm trying my best here - I'm not so used to running a really large scale tournament, but it's good practice, haha. Starting to understand why you were always losing your mind running these in the past.
For those of you playing in D5: Powerpoints is tough, but it gets easier as you play. I'm saying this as honest as I can -- I'm not the greatest at jacks. I can handle short sequences, but most of the ones in Powerpoints are 8+ notes and it's extremely difficult for me too. However, the song definitely gets easier as you play. Take a look at my personal score progression (these are all serious runs, too): It's definitely hard, but I think I'm pretty weak when it comes to jacks. Hell, part of the reason why the rating was so low is because I was watching Kayla playtest it and she was barrelling through these like nothing, so I figured they weren't too bad. HOLY SHIT I WAS SO WRONG, LOL |

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #8
In Powerpoints, the 192nds cause frame issues in some of the long jacks. Particularly the few 2 frame minijacks in the long ones make them a lot worse.
This file doesn't look bad in stepmania because chord cohesion, but in FFR, anchors like that are a LOT worse. |

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #8
Sightreading D5's and D6's files on my laptop without any warmup. Mfw I get this with almost no effort.
