I'd rather trust the programmer when he says it is doing more harm than good than trust the president when he says we need to balance privacy for security.

I've been following this on Ars Technica for the past few days, and it really is sickening. But it's nice to know that this program has been ousted into the public eye, and that people who claim that the NSA is monitoring all communications won't be branded as tinfoil hat-wearing loonies.

im glad this guy leaked for the benefit of the american people so i hope he doesnt do hard time but i say that sparingly because i hate bradley manning and consider him a traitor
