it's all arbitrary who cares should just steal how SM scores everything because the numbers are so big there isn't any real way to analyze it

I changed my key mapping to the QWERTY keyboard instead of the arrow keys(since it boosts my skills) does that have anything to do with it? cause I know you cant type two letters at the same time. |

I think it really depends on the kind of laptop you are using that allows, or doesn't in your case, to hit two keys at a time. I use ASKL, and I have personally never had a problem. You could invest in getting a USB keyboard to plug into your laptop as a solution?

Ghosting is defined as the number of keys that can be pressed at once on a keyboard and is a HARDWARE limitation. If your keyboard cant even press 2 keys at once, has no anti ghosting. "Most" keyboards are 2-key anti ghosting, therefore playing ffr, jumps would work fine but hands and quads would not register correct. My suggestion would be to look into a keyboard (maybe gaming, i use a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2013) or a large amount of players seem to like the K120 by Logitech. I personally would like to get my hands on a MX Cherry Red QPad Keyboard. Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 7/26/13]
Hey guys! I'm trying to transition to the R^3 engine, and I would like to know what the "accuracy" numbers mean when you right click the mods on the song result screen. Thanks.
Also is there a way to shorten the delay of / eradicate the flash behind the receptors after you hit a note (It gives the illusion of lag, which is why I never play R^3)? If not PLEASE add this simple modification! Edit: I'm not alone! Quote:

In theory it's your perfect judge offset, play a song you're good, and then get the accuracy number the first one without being ~ \ [] \ () I use that thing often owo

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 7/26/13]
Is there anywhere we can view a live changelog, or changes that have been made since 7/26/13 that have yet to be implemented?
Just curious! |

I don't believe so unless he's been keeping it in the OP of the thread.

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 7/26/13]
You average (first) off the amazing frame, Give or take (second).
If the second number is large, you just aren't hitting accurately, if the first number is large and the second is small, adjust offset/judge etc. So by playing a song you are familiar with, you can minimize your own error and determine with the first number what an appropriate offset would be to correct your timing. the flash really isn't much of a distraction, but if you really find it annoying, try the dark mod, it should mitigate a lot of its effects

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 7/26/13]
I tried it, but the flash seems opaque in my mind. kind of like a mindblock on an easy chart, irritating to the point of unplayable.
