Waffles vs. Pancakes (and maybe French Toast)

Is there really that much of a difference between waffles and pancakes? Yes, they have different textures, but in my opinion, when you add syrup to both of them, you can't really taste much of a difference.

I don't like French Toast drowned in syrup, because not only is it extremely gooey, it's also way too soft and you don't even taste the French toast anymore, only the syrup, making it an unworthy part of a complete breakfast.

Still though, which one do you like the most?

Note: French Toast is not included in the 3rd option, just waffles and pancakes.

Well, relating to the topic since I might as well address it to avoid complete postwhoring, I am going to say waffles. better texture, better taste, and better variety.

Just eat whatever you want for breakfast. There's no point in arguing which food is better.

Ok seriously? It's just supposed to be for fun, not a debate or something like that.

I just thought it would be fun, and plus, all the other websites that I did it at didn't find it "pointless".

It's not like I'm ranting mindlessly or anything, it's just a poll, not too much discussion, but it's still interesting regardless.

I prefer french toast out of all three; pancakes fill up my stomach too fast and always fall apart when I eat them, and waffles never cook right in the toaster. -_-

French toast with cinnamon and powdered sugar and a tiny amount of syrup owns both. <3

French toast has a better flavor than the other two. Waffles have the best texture but are too similar in taste to pancakes to stand out.
