Default FFR Courses

I was wondering if FFR could have Song Courses
like example

Beginners Course : Songs ranging from Beginners to Very Easy
then an Intermediates Course : Songs ranging from Tricky to Difficult
then an Experts Course : Songs Ranging from Challenging to Very Challenging
then a Masters Course : Songs ranging from Very Challenging to "For Guru's Only"

something like that then you get credits for completeing a course
some what to stepmania's format except with a slight touch of FFR

just a suggestion... feedback on it?

EDIT : If there was another topic on this then MODS go ahead and lock/delete this thx.

I don't really know what you mean by course. Be more specific.

He means the same kind of things as if you go into something like challenge or nonstop in SM. Where you choose the course, it makes you play 4-5 songs, then gives you the results of all of them, and you can pick the difficulty of which one you want.

omg, lump. Don't you care about anything in playing FFR other than increasing your grand total score? Well, I guess you could.

I like this idea. Gives you somewhat of a challenge and maybe some extra credits. it would be cool if you could have an optional mode - only 4 misses allowed. That might make it a bit more interesting.

Although, would it be possible to do without making the scrolling through genres even more extensive. There's already 10 genres and I don't wanna have to scroll through one more.

Think of where this could possibly fit into ffr and it might work. Possibly sub-genres? Open dance and it splits into 2 circles: songs and courses. Would that work?

I doubt he does.

I also like the idea, so i wouldn't have to go through all the genres and pages to get to another song.

I personally like this idea. Where there are certain goals that you have to meet in the x amount of songs you have to play (Such as more averages than goods would be fun, only x amount of misses, and such. Also put like random mods in there make it really hard by keep changing the speed mods and make the arrows that are gray move up and down). I'd love this to happen, maybe just click like a button near the Q button where a course list would come from. I really hope this gets implemented but i doubt it will

Just an addition: The courses could be set up before two people play in Multiplayer so piking back and forth and saying "gg" after every game won't happen as much. (I got sick of saying gg)

How about another addition. What if we can use a whole new selection format considering this. Instead of genre selections, we can use the course selection with (#) songs in each course. (randomization is considered as a selection of a course) Then if we only want to play only one specific song, we can highlight and double click the specific song we wish to play. Sounds ok to me. Of course, maybe implementation in 3rd; would take too long to do.

Well the initial idea seems possible, but once you start getting into subgenres, it would require a TON of coding, I believe. Don't get carried away with new ideas, things start out basic.
