On the Removal of Crowdpleaser from Level Ranks

Okay, lets be serious, the trill IS hard. The file is complete garbage. And even if you vibrate it legitimately, as Dossar shows in his iso video, you wont get the FC half the time due to FFR game play problems. I've passed shit like OME and I've only legitimately fced the stupid trill like 5 times. There is no possible way that 199 people legitimately fced the file. I can't find one reason, other than the fact that it is an old file [which frankly, is a crappy reason] that this should be included in public level ranks.

Whether or not CP is a technically accurate file makes no difference, it shouldn't be moved for this reason. It shouldn't even be a factor for it being moved imo.

Criteria for token files, especially in recent years, are based on if the file is a v2, parody/novelty file, or out of the ordinary for example; after all, these are unlockables. Crowdpleaser is anomalous in the public ranks due to the fact that it involves techniques that are completely specific to that file in order to manipulate it. For this reason alone, it should be moved to token ranks. Likewise, I can guarantee you that subsequent charts that demand vibration similar to CP will never be added to public ranks for the above reasons.

Unfortunately even when a better method for scoring is implemented, the overlay issue will persist on the upper end of the leaderboard so although the problem won't be as pronounced, it will still be an anomaly in the ranks much like vRofl, p4u v1, or TWWW.

Majority wants it moved and rightly so, so let's get it over with.

I have no problem with CP remaining in the public ranks. So what if it's unique? So what if it's a joke? It's a file like any other, there's no gimmicks involved in the level itself (no video background, no moving targets, no mod scripts), and we have a CPv2 in the skill token ranks already, requiring merely a pass of v1 to unlock. It's just straightforward vibrajacking in that one part.

also ~50 FCs are legitimate FCs, the other FCs are people holding keys to FC or using double inputs.

Like me, I held the keys to FC it.

I can move both this and Revo to token ranks and would have done so long ago, but an admin needs to recode the token requirements so the V2s will unlock the V1s.

I can move CP to Legacy for the time being, but that seems pointless if ultimately that's not where we want it to end up.

I'm not really a fan of skill tokens with regular token requirements. Perhaps you intend to switch the V2s with the V1s?
