It was another day of planning. Flash Squadron soon found they couldn't trust one another with the plot of the mission because there was a leak. There had to be. How many sources? No one knew.
The only one who knew the full details of the plan was General Cracken. Even he didn't trust the leader of the squadron to be one of the moles... Instead, he gave each member a partial amount of info. Hopefully they could use each individual piece and succeed in their mission for the New Republic.

Lasers flew by as Cold Kitten crouched behind a crate. Her blaster pack was running low on ammo. Frantically looking around from behind her cover, she caught a tiny glimpse of a familiar face. "j-rodd123!" she gasped, "I need ammo!"

j-rodd123 pulled out an extra pack and was about to toss it over to Cold Kitten when, all of the sudden, the wall behind him had exploded!

"Wow... I didn't expect it to blow that hard.." exclaimed storn42, "that was kind of cool."

"EXCEPT FOR THE FACT YOU JUST BLASTED J-RODD123!" screamed Cold Kitten.

"What?! STANG! NO!"

storn42 and Cold Kitten dug the body of j-rodd123 out from underneath the rubble.

"No..." Cold Kitten breathed as she looked upon the lifeless face of her comrade.

"Wait..." storn42 said, voice barely a whisper, "his datapad... it's blinking."

There was a new message waiting. Anxious, storn42 opened it as Cold Kitten watched closely.

Words appeared on the pad before them:

"You've done well. Now keep up your duty and prevent this 'liberation' of Thyferra from happening.

Once again, we shall become the ruling superpower of this galaxy!

Glory to the Empire!

"The transmission ends..." tiloco217 said standing back up after reading the datapad found beside the remains.

There had once been a body here. Now all that remained was a charred lump of flesh, and not much else.
Burning hair and skin tainted the air, and no one dared touch the body for fear of turning it into a quivering mass.

All of Flash Squadron had been awoken from their sleep and raced from their separate hideouts inside the Thyferran bacta plant. The stormtrooper threat had been momentarily eliminated earlier in during the assault leaving only the central hub left to be liberated from the Imperials.

"It's like 3 steps forward, and 2 steps back..." YoshL said, "we finally get closer to accomplishing our mission, only to suffer more loss.."

Determined, Red Blaster spoke up, "the difference is though.. we will succeed. We HAVE to succeed. The literal lives of so many in the galaxy are potentially at stake..."

Red Blaster, YoshL, tiloco217, reuben_tate, storn42, Charles Claythorne, and Cold Kitten all rose and headed back for their respective makeshift camps. The next step of the mission needed to be done, after all.

Pausing for a quick moment, reuben_tate chanced a backwards glimpse. What met his gaze was the same sight they had all been seeing for the past half hour:
A crumbled mass of charred flesh that had belonged to cry4eternity...





cry4eternity has been murdered.
He was the Slicer.

I'm torn between thinking Ben or tiloco is the other wolf. Ben has basically been MIA, and while that doesn't -necessarily- make him a wolf, it definitely doesn't do a good job of painting him as town. As for tiloco, I've just been getting a super bad vibe from him all game. I know that's not a reason, but I can't really think of a good one to give right now, and I don't have time to look through the thread.

mashi i just read as inherently human, which isn't great, but I have to go with what I can tell from someone.

red has reacted like I expect town-red to react all game and he's had an over abundance of confidence because, I have to assume, he ~knows he's human~ and everyone read him as human early game.

yoshl, i think you're human because of the aggressiveness. that doesn't seem like something a wolf would, or should, do. and you're experienced, so you know what not to do as a wolf, or at least i would think you do. the aggressiveness is definitely super ballsy and i just can't see a wolf doing it

Obviously Storn is the best way to go today unless someone completely outs themselves somehow.

Not really upset that Cry died..I don't think he even had a presence after his claim at all. So thanks wolves..not like we were getting use out of him anyway.

I'd say that Cry's flip gives Yosh credit, but it really doesn't considering he's brought up him being godfather multiple times unprovokedly. To his credit, I think he is the type of player who would boldly put it in our faces knowing that we wouldn't actually move on it, just so he can get the laughs out of it. However, I don't think this is the best place to look right now.

Ben hasn't been around much either, could say the same for Mashi as well.

Still skeptic about Cold being human, but she'd be the last person I'd want lynched right now.

I'd be ok with a Storn/Ben lynch seeing as Mashi never seems to gain any traction from anyone.

So obviously there is at least one wolf on jrodd's lynch given that Cry4 and Ben were the only two not to vote.

YoshL and tiloco both read fairly Human to me. Red Blaster keeps making me roll my eyes, but I'm still thinking he's Human for the time being.

So of the three people remaining (storn, reuben_tate, Cold Kitten), the only two pairings that make immediate sense to me are storn-reuben_tate and storn-Cold Kitten. And reuben_tate has done nothing to ameliorate my suspicion of him, so that's the theory I think fits best.

Might want to reevaluate why storn so easily voted for j-rodd though, just in case. I find it odd for someone playing TWG for the first time to vote for a Partner so easily.

Need to focus on another game on LLF though, so I'll see you all tomorrow if I don't finish up tonight!!!
