Well, as it happens, I totally made up my user name.
Because i was trying to think of something epic for a World of Warcraft character one day which happens to come from the fact that I was using the restroom while thinking about having a party with oodles of alcohol.
Then the name Toilet Vodka popped into my head and its been my username for pretty much everything since then.

For me, it's not so much how I decided on my username (I just thought of it), but more on how the "e" got into sulfur.

My original username was PhoenixW. Obviously, referring to Phoenix Wright. This wasn't even my own name. I told my brother I could care less about my username and he could pick one. After a while I decided I didn't want to keep the name simply because I'm honestly not a big Ace Attorney fan. I decided on what name I wanted, but I was far too stupid to remember how to spell sulfur. I also happened to be to lazy to get a dictionary. Therefore, I called the same brother into the room who gave me my original username. He told me it was spelled s-u-l-f-e-r. Now, he had always claimed to have been a good speller, so after asking him about 57 times that he was sure I used it. Of course, he was wrong. Even after I found out, I still decided to keep the name because I liked it.

Wow, that was less exciting than I remember. Maybe I'm forgetting something.

P.S. Cool people tell how they got their username through animations.

I got mine if you couldnt guess from halo and the pilot's codename foehammer. No it wasnt from any LoTR bs either which people think often. =/

Edit: I also use the name moh_master2003 and thats because in 2003 I made up the user name and at the time was very much into playing medal of honor online and frankly I wasnt a "master" but I was pretty damn good. =p

MUZAU: My username was originally my username in the old version of Runescape, shocking as it may seem. It was just a random stab at a fantasy RPG type name, and it stuck for a long time.

Midday was taken. Some girl in Georgia or w/e. So I decided to decorate. I was in the middle of an RPG game called Mother (aka Earthbound in English). This is the game series Ness and Lucas are from. There was this cool effect for Ness's signature move, PSI Flash. I ended up drawing my version of PSI Flash in the name. Xx{}xX. and it worked fine, until people started thinking I was Xx{Midnight}xX's alt. Moreover, I had lots of trouble because I had never been on any forum (or had any experience dealing with other people for that matter) before.

I still like the name, and how it turned out. Glad it's being used elsewhere. Glad Midday gained a new meaning, and some chance of utilization. [/life]

I'm not sure why, but my friends started calling me Andy-o. Then I just added a 24 for whatever reason I had.
