here's how it works where people know how to play roles and not try and rush bad plans instantly in the game:

masons: leave CODE in the thread signalling who your partners are. subtle code that you know what it is and when going back and quoted is clear you're clear.

scenario: mason gets night killed, mason #2 is on the chopping block. no way of clearing them. OH WAIT, THEY LEFT MASON CODE AND THEIR DEAD PARTNER DID TOO!!! THEY ARE LOCK CLEARED AND NOT OUTED
