Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-FOUR
It's possible with practice. I nearly made it through the 16th speed-up run (the hardest part, lol) while passing the challenge on a different run. It just takes studying and a tiny bit of timing manipulation to ensure you don't become a victim of hitting a note you shouldn't have, despite having good timing. Playing with misses is like playing with fire -- have the wrong timing and you're fucked, lol

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-FOUR
Okay, this is what I imagined for the challenges now... practically impossible but whorably doable.
I love you for this AJ. I may fucking despise these challenges in a few moments, so let me enumerate my feelings before frustration sets in. Edit: Okay watched your replay for dis? and I feel as if that speedup will be near impossible or overall you should allow some grace because FFR's timing system is just a bag of peaches (but maybe allow some grace only if nobody gets it, ie: reward anyone who completes it or in the event of total failure (predicting now) give it to the person with the fewest fuckups (people if it's a tie)). Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-FOUR
I really wanna do the do i simile? one because of event token. But the question is, will I actually put the effort in? Just to be clear are 4th's and 8th's red and yellow notes? The only thing really standing in my way of completing the challenge like a normal human being is my goddamn computer constantly having popups every time I start the song, which causes it to lag in basically every spot ON THE STANDALONE.

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-FOUR
^^ 4ths and 8ths are the standard red and blue.
Going to start my post now before attempting the other challenges... Last edited by smartdude1212; 05-24-2013 at 06:32 PM.. |

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-FOUR
So if I somehow complete this ??? challenge, and I have Freedom Dive already, I can get the other event token I'm missing and 1 support token? (the only other token I don't have)?

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-FOUR
For the event token, you get bonus credits if you already have it unlocked, same with the support token thing.

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-FOUR
Apart from the 16th stream and a few silly mistakes, I think this is pretty close. I'm analyzing the replay frame by frame, but it's very hard to tell exactly which notes are hit and which are missed. The first 64th roll is particularly hard.

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-FOUR
Ah ok. I'm only missing Tell v3 and Wisest at this point as far as non-skill tokens. I'm not doing this ??? challenge as it's impossible for my eyes to do that. XD

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-FOUR
Going to need a check on this. It feels valid but there are too many goods from those 32nd areas that make me wonder if I was waiting long enough before hitting the right notes.
At least I know the magic miss number now. As for dis?, aside from the speedup and FFR's beautiful frames, this is probably a decent run. Completely disregarded the speedup here and I'd say this is about as good as it'll get from me for the rest of the file. Otherwise, ??? is impossible gg... as is Skeletor apparently. Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-FOUR
Okay these boss challenges are really just beyond my skill level now. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. At least I got the other three done.

You have to FC Phalanx as well.

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-FOUR
I keep getting so close on Skeletor. So far, my best pass is with 1,225 boos. And there's no way I'm getting Phalanx.
I'm pretty sure this is a good run.

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-FOUR
I think it's supposed to 72 misses. I just watched through and counted them all out, unless I missed (lol) one somewhere.

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-FOUR
I'm pretty sure Jasmine is a 73 miss run... and mine still hasn't been checked.
