Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Zanzibar Green - 8/7/9/4
Live and Learn (Zen Death Squad Remix) - 6/7/9/8 NO MONEY DOWN LOW MONTHLY PAYMENTS - 7/8/6.5/7 A Pierce of Flesh - 8/6.5/5/7 Euphoria v2 - 6/7/7 Somerset Blather On and On - 7/6.5/5.5/5.5 Fluctuations in ratings can happen, but in the case of Zanzibar Green it was pretty disappointing considering the notes (it reminds of me of the 4 bomb on Extratone Pirates with no helpful notes). I was surprised No Money Down got the ratings it did. I'll ask the judge staff first before my changes since they would be rather substantial. And of course I will look at the other files again. Euphoria is receiving a cut.Bonus: Doki Doki Robo Bunny was an attempt at an index submission.

sap cap 4 w0
Glad to see VALEDICT and Fading Star made it in. Gonna see what can be done about Aventyr and Slam Crunk (...I'm xandertraxing this until it gets in ) P.S. The 6/10 review for Aventyr - not sure whose - has been copied twice under both halo/yoshl and yoshl/bmah. Can I get an actual 4th rating on this pls thanks <3

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
I don't think I'll step again anytime soon. My 5.5 average has been consistent over every file I have ever submitted. I even went to about 5 different people this time with it for advice. Most consistent issue remains layering, which has always felt like a 'damned if I do, damned if I don't' situation. Any attempt at Climax theory is over layering, while leaving the steps exactly the same every time would make for a boring file. If I chose to highlight certain parts of the song that stands out and add a little variation, it's inconsistent.
Yes, I have taken a couple of the suggestions and improved those technical errors. I am thankful for that. But I am frustrated with a lack of progress in my own charting. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Well, if that's the case, you just convinced me never to judge again. Why didn't you people tell me I lacked skill before giving me the job? That would've saved me the trouble of playing all of those songs. I'm not even going to defend myself. I'm out. I'll get better at something else.
