Re: CBR Presents Omnicore 2
Nexus if you are looking for a bank of sounds but not much synthesis (although it does allow you to shape the presets as you see fit to some degree)
Z3TA+ 2 Anything Native Instruments really (massive, fm8, razor etc.) Sylenth1 vanguard |

Sytrus = 90% of my songs.
It's a vst you have to love gently to uncover its true potential. And Nexus is kool too

Re: CBR Presents Omnicore 2
Sytrus is really powerful, much like z3ta+, but I find them both extremely hard to use 'cause I'm shit at synthesis and presets are mostly pretty shit.
I use Nexus for most of my stuff nowadays. |

Re: CBR Presents Omnicore 2
what cbr said, but I'd highly recommend sylenth for its raw power and low cpu usage/size on disk and volume of sounds. btw I've been using freeware for the last year just to play it legit. cool free stuff is like synth 1, tal k7ro I think its called, invader, nk 1001, super wave p 8, adonis, and anything by HG fortune like scungi is really cool.
Edit: forgot to mention u-he zebra 2, its p good for analog type sounds and they got alot of free sound packs online - in fact I have them all uploaded in a convient dl o; (asuming you decide to try it out via torrenting I'd imagine) Last edited by V-Ormix; 12-15-2012 at 03:11 PM.. |

Re: CBR Presents Omnicore 2
Sytrus and Nexus are sick... I'm starting to develop a love for Harmless as well for doing cool things with LFO and other events.

Re: CBR Presents Omnicore 2
I've never really licked Sytrus or Nexus
they never seemed "right" Although I will acknowledged that Nexus has an awesome Audience Clapping to Beat preset

Re: CBR Presents Omnicore 2
it actually doesn't mean anything. Remove the ".'s" and that's basically the title.
