Re: Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
I don't remember seeing a single burst in Pants. It's purely 16th Jumpstream all over the place with some easier parts. Try to give me a combo or something with a replay..

May I suggest alphabetizing these?

Re: Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
Sorry I really suck at the terminology I always assumed burst was a burst of notes (well it is a burst of notes to me) http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/.../replay/69734/ here's the bad replay there's one of the "bursts" at around the 914 combo, at 1130, and 1470ish. If all of that is too much then the ending stream-whatchamacallit at 1655

Re: Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
Sure, the request list is fairly low right now and it's not like it was hard to do. Just takes a little more time.

Re: Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
YO. I'm back. I'll start running the list if you would like, if not that's cool too. Technical files can be my duty too now, if there is any want for those. Up to you. PS, I'll alphabetize them too if you want me too.

Re: Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
Please do the BPM increase thing with the trills/jumptrills. Like start it out at 300 BPM (I'm just assuming that's what BPM MAX Forever is) and maybe finish the trill at like 600 BPM just doing 1/4 and 1/8 notes and adding like 25-30 BPM per 4 or 5 notes.
I'm envisioning trills that are quite long. Thank you very much justin_ator |

Re: Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
I don't really see the point of your request. PAing slow trills like in MAX Forever is about consistency and control, whereas PAing fast trills is about one-handed trilling and jacking ability.
A jumptrill practice file would be useful, although it's probably better suited for Tarrik's engine. I'm envisioning something like [13][24] and [14][23] bursts of 3-9ish notes, from 150ish to 240ish bpm.

Re: Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
I'll keep these in mind, guys. Like I said, I'm going to make a SET of files. The first trill file will be mid speed one handed trills, meant to help steady PA practice on relatively typical BPM trills. The second one will be speed trilling practice most likely. The jumptrills I am still thinking about how I want to do this so that the file doesn't end up being too long but still covers all the patterns and whatnot at a few speeds. I'm starting to work on them.

Re: Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
PA'ing the trills like the ones in MAX Forever used to be what I did to warm up, and that would kind of be what I want them for on a practice engine. Except make them with a progressive BPM increase so they do start to get faster, and teach me how I need to start hitting faster trills.
Even when I was finally starting to AAA VC's and they decided to move K8107 down to a VC, there was no way in hell I could FC it without mashing. I can't keep up with the trills at *all*. Bloodrunk is another example of a file requiring a good mastery of trilling to PA decently, and another file I'm batshit horrible at. I don't care if the file has one 500 note long one handed trill, and I can just play it on mirror to practice on the other hand, I would play it, and probably every day until I could consistently AAA it. Trill speed starting out at MAX Forever speed and ending a few BPM higher than Blooddrunks trills. And if possible the SM assist tick as the "music" rofl. |

Re: Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
Assist Tick will be the sound to the song, rest assured. But it won't be the SM clap, it will be another tick in one of my other Themes...that clap drives me nuts. Either way, that is what I was thinking, -zero-. I've already started on it.

Yeah, another thing that could be done in your first post. That way we'll have them both from date release/alphabetic order. Quote:
Same story with Bus Rides With People's bursts. Alright for FOTBB's Runningman section. The second half of One Minute Waltz basically? Until the end? |

I'll check out a few files that may need an iso. Also, yay for putting an iso for 12 Bars.

Re: Hakulyte's Isolation Engine Thread (For Requests etc.)
If you don't mind, could you host a few of my files so I can test it out on an FFR-like engine?
(Only if it takes a few clicks for you to host my files - if it's complicated, don't bother reading the rest of this post) I've tried all the offline engines & whatever but apparently I can't get anything to run properly.. :C I have a few files for the hard songs batch that's coming up in 1-2 months (not sure when) but they ARE pretty hard, so I want to see if there are any problems with my files on the FFR engine, seeing that problems arise when notes are too close together.. (Example: 205 bpm 32nds & 48ths, 190 bpm 64ths, etc) thanks in advance for your reply :P |

Already am, almost done with the one handed trill technical files. Then onto jumptrills, then speed trilling. Quote:
@bassCannon, if you send the files to me, I will put them into an offline engine for you and send it back. Hosting your files isn't really the point of this engine. justin_ator@yahoo.com
