Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
stop sucking dossar's dick, and you don't know shit about stepping breakcore
yeah dude i will totally step this 6-note 64th burst at 200bpm because that's what it sounds like on 0.3 rate xiz, your files are fucking unmemorable and nobody gives two fucks to play your files after they've been AAA'd |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Yeah okay I read all that.
Mi40, sorry to make ya outburst like that. Not my intention. However, my point still stands. The point is to actually have files that many people like as the end result. Scores below 6 call for drastic changes. If I get files below 6, I will do everything in my power to make it better and more enjoyable for everyone, not just myself. I'm just tellin' the truth as an equal stepper.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Xiz, I think you're missing Ji's main point: that Dossar's notes are /consistently/ (in his eyes) much lower than the other scores. Very simple. You're not playing TWG right now.
If you took the second to look at the scores he posted, they were all around 6 and under. He's not saying his stepping style is flawless in any way. If you're going to be playing the "stop thinking you're perfect" card, then make sure you're actually using it the right way lol (I've done like... 2 files so far lol expect delays until finals are done) |

Also, your point still might stand, but completely removing Dossar from judging his files is a poor move, and I still think immature. If he really is being bias then talk to him about that in skype or pm. Don't make such a huge public world statement throwing this fit haha EDIT: Yoshl obvious red play.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
I'll have you guys know that if you have any issues with a judge, please send a private message to that judge! If you are still not satisfied, please PM me or jimerax and either one of us will review the issue.
I don't recommend complaining directly in this thread. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
bmah, I think a lot of people have an issue with dossar rofl
I think the issue with dossar is that he looks at charts from a purely technical standpoint, disregarding fun factor and theory. I'd say that this is why dossar, even though he's a relatively prolific step-artist, has never had any file that have stood out. You could argue Metro, but that's a terrible example. Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
I'm just making a generalization when it comes to having a complaint about a judge, not making a position on Dossar himself.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
I wonder if it would be better to have different types of judging? Like dossar be the technical judge, and dest be a fun judge? Just an example. But if a judge focuses more on one skill why not cater that?
Or, this might be getting too complex but perhaps two ratings or so per judge? Technical, fun?

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Yeah, that.
What I wouldn't mind seeing though is a system kind of like what osu! does, but to an extent that it's more controlled than just spitting files out and waiting years for something to happen with a song. That way, all the judges still look at it, but normal players have a say in it too, helpful or not, saying if they like it, don't like it, give reasons why they like or don't like it (bad or good ones, doesn't matter), and maybe even give their own personal score. And the judge score would be 80% judge and 20% normal players... or something, (ps, not really thinking this through, just rambling). This way, the file will be looked at by more people AND it could make judging spots easier to learn and eventually get to. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
osu system is also based on favoritism though. some excellent maps often get drowned at the bottom without any review
