Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
What happened in a nutshell:
October 6th - jimerax asks who's available to judge the October batch with 120 files. He says it will require 8 judges (bmah said 6 would work however). - I post that I'm available for a primary judge October 10th - TC_Halogen says he can be a supportive judge (managing official tournament, intensive class and work schedule, etc) - AlexDest says he can be a primary judge - Fission says he can be a primary judge - kommisar says he will judge passed files if needed October 16th - i love you says "sure", assuming this means primary judge - kjwkjw says he can fill in for 50% of the batch - Choofers says he can be a backup judge From this we have: - 4 primary judges: Myself, i love you, AlexDest, Fission. Still two judges short for primary. kjwkjw said he could do 50% so I guess it's 4.5 judges. FFR community repeatedly asks for batch picture, no reponse from jimerax. Now it's October 29th. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Its not like the batch limit is strict lol. It could be split into smaller ones since submission is so slow

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
I still think it would be better to have like 60 batch increments every month (SAP resetting every other month)
Judges will have less amount in one batch, i feel like 120 is kinda pushing it a tad. (Then again I am not a judge, so I wouldn't know)

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
120 files, 6 judges
Two groups of judges, 3 in each group 60 files for each judge Look at how many files were in the hard songs batch (46 total files) and how late the notes were |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
The batch may have to be judged in smaller chunks at this rate. There are already 120 files waiting to be judged and it's just going to pile up and not get resolved if this keeps up.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
write some reviews to prove that you can look at a file objectively and distance yourself from personal bias
don't really have that much time to elaborate, but i'll give you more information later if nobody replies |

but isn't that the reason we have multiple judges to have people who prefer different things give their 2 cents? |
