Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
I had walk on water around a 56 personally, but idk generally people struggle with colored things. I guess lets see how more of the division does.

Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
Beautiful Arrhythmia: Absolutely amazing, good job Wilson.
Oops: I don't get the hate on this file lol, I like it. It's annoying to score on yes, but it's fun overall. Walk on Water: A bit too high yeah, I'd put it at 55-56. Pretty okay file. Blue Marine: I already told you what I thought of this Brandon, I thought this was pretty good. Not a fan of the song though, but personal opinion haha. I'll check on the other files later. D3: All in all it's a fun song and I can't really pick anything wrong with it, moar Paragon for future rounds would be great. :3
D5: Dem Jumpjacks, get me everytime. D: D1-2-4-6/7: Haven't played yet. My time is being devoted to a AAA in D3. |

Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
Thanks for the kind comments!
If I may ask, which parts in BA are overstepped? How can I change those parts so that it is not so overdone? I'm asking this so that I don't do this again in future files, even though I have a high tendency to do so haha |

Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
I have a feeling that the part many are disliking are the flams that start at around 800ish.
I personally love that part because I have really nice sounding taps through it that match the separated drum samples, haha. EDIT: j-rodd - your post is invalidated as a "Middie" post for the following reason: "to me" |

I don't know who you are and why you're reading this, but I can safely say that you have one or more opinions towards the flams of Oops. [/reverse middie post]

Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
lmfao i love that half of you hate my stepping, half of you are fine with it
Oops was meant to be tricky as hell. It's hard as hell to avoid boos, especially on little parts like a 2[12]2 thrown in there. And also, read what bmah posted. If you listen to the song, with PR and stuff thrown in, the song is going to be "jack" heavy, especially at the end. It's just the nature of the song. And if you have qualms about having it in D5 this round, stop blaming the chart, because it wasn't my choice to shove it in this round (see also: Press Start) I still think it was a good song choice though. Both for stepping, and for the tourney. :PMiddie Still Mad Cuz Bad 2013 |

Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
D1: Calm song, decent file. Too long but meh simple AAA.
D2: Catchy song and again simple file. Fun! D3: An awesome file and song. D4: Much better than last week's file. Got a blackflag but could defo AAA this. I like it a lot and I think 59's a bit too much IMO. D5: THOSE JACKS!!! Fine til like 1100-1200 combo then those jump jacks ... dafuq? lol D6: Meh, file could've been better, but again it's D6 so it was expected that it would be stepped like that.

Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
I like Walk on water, but I have issues with the section from ~750-920. I think the arrows are going to some background beat, but I can't hear it. It's making that section stupid hard to PA.
Normally I'm getting there with like 5-9 goods and getting out with 17

Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
Oops - Another Yoshl file... Atleast this wasn't as bad as jack-the-ripper, refrain from using dossque fall filently patterns please, Your giving me flashbacks of D4.
Beautiful Arrhythmias - I hope that every Sessilenomad file that gets in game isn't going to be littered with awkward burst patterns x.x Good file non-the-less iironiic.

Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
Reset - I thought it was funny when bmah mentioned Mulan because then I knew I wasn't the only one who thought of that movie when I first heard this song XD. Apart from that the song was ok and so was the chart. Have fun with those hands D1!
Wonder World! - Pretty short song but it's enjoyable. I'd definetly like to see a harder version for this song. Blue Marine - It seems like my files are popularly used in D3 just like the last official lol. Thanks for all the Blue Marine love everyone <3 Walk on Water - Can't really say whether I find it easier or harder than last round really. About the same to me I guess. Anyways the chart was was good and flowed nicely. Oops - Very interesting song but in a good way. I enjoy it and the chart is pretty fun to me as well. People keep commenting about the ending and the only thing I have to say to it is that it's fine. The jacks are probably just too fast for some people but the patterns were fine to me. You can easily create mindblocks playing this song too much so be careful about those x.x Beautiful Arrhythmia - I was soooooo looking forward to playing this song for round 2. Love SessileNomad's music so much and Wilson usually does a good job of stepping his songs too. I do enjoy playing Beautiful Arrhythmia for fun but scoring wise..... hnnnnnnng such a pain. Those split rolls are tough for me and all the flams and stuff after 800 combo or something are tough to nail without getting a good. The ending also has some parts that feel awkward to me on the right hand and I nail it about 50% of the time. But overall I'm glad to see this in-game.
