I'm not going to deny it's super layered, but I still found it fun as hell to play.
Lots of jumps really complemented the heavy percussion of the song. A few strange left-handed 8th anchor's I'd have changed but honestly I quite enjoyed the file.

p.s. I hear a few more things that could have been layered in, the melody echoes, the 16th bassdrums... bitch plz you guys don't even know what overlayered is
I'd like to know where I said the word bad, k thnks. But for me, yea I can't stand playing overlayered stuff. I don't find it enjoyable to just be pretty much hitting jumps and hands. I prefer charts that do more. I find streaming and bursts and such fun. That's my preference and I have every right to that.

I'm fairly sure you're being sarcastic.

On the off chance you're serious: I played your tourney charts. I'm pretty sure I know what it looks like. Playing D4 that tourney is a crash course in playing over-layered nonsense... no offense. It was really good practice however. (I'm not saying I haven't done it before ect. Don't read that the wrong way please.)

I only ever try a couple of rounds songs since there's no point on giving opinions on things I can't fathom.

Hearth's Warming Holiday Cheer (D2) - This is probably my favourite chart of the tournament so far, and it's not that hard for Round 4. If this doesn't see a host of AAAs, and a very low SDG cutoff (I'm estimating 2), I'm going to be very surprised.

Iced Innocence (D3) - What the **** is with these difficulty jumps? The differences between rounds have been pretty large, but this jump is so large. Dense jumpstream, that's all that really needs to be said. I don't even feel like I should be reviewing it as I can't actually read it

                rage moar plz

On a serious note, I kinda expected this response. I personally find flamingo really fun, but obviously that differs from person to person, as we've seen in the thread. I can see where it would be annoying to play for a tourney though.

Also for Hearth's Warming Holiday Cheer, I'm glad people enjoy it. First brony musician in the game is a success!

I liked Flamingo. There's nothing unfairly hard about it and it goes with the song, which is fun. It's nothing like the end of Kirby Music or the jumpjacks in Scrap Syndrome or the trills in Husigi or all of Slashmaid, where every pattern is just like lol this game is no longer about coordination good ****ing luck.

There's stuff in this game that pisses me off, but Flamingo? Hahahahaha get over it.

Politically Correct Holiday Song - Funny song and and ok chart as well.

Hearth's Warming Holiday Cheer - I liked the song and chart. Though I thought some of the patterns were a little awkward to hit.

Iced Innocence - I remember playing this in a DF tournament and it looks like the same from it as well. Very split heavy. Took me forever to AAA because I'm so bad at splitting. Charts ok though I guess.

Flamingo - I have to agree with people that it is over-layered BUT........ I actually had fun playing it soooooo yeah.

Aletheia - I didn't like this file =/ It was pretty boring to me. The 32nds in the first JS are pretty awkward and I don't like them. Probably a case of mad cuz bad. But everything else was either boring or some random difficulty spike. The second set of JS was fun though. That's about all I liked.

Oh wait I forgot about those 24th minijacks. Those were actually fun to hit imo.

Sleepmix Strikes Back - Love this chart and I also love the song! I'll have fun playing this a lot this round. The bursts are pretty fun to hit. The first set of jumpgluts aren't too much of a problem for me but still give me trouble here and there but the second set I can't get my head around it. Great file bmah <3

Best SDG = Fushigi Usagi Milk Tei 8-0-0-3 (101)
                      Best Score = do i smile? 3-0-0-3 (100)

I normally can do dense JS, but this is awkward for me. maybe cuz there is a swing feeling to the song, but I need to stay rigid with it. I dont like the song itself. Stuff in it is too subtle imo to step properly, especially dense patterns.

I've only played D4, D5, and of course, D6 songs.

Flamingo was a bit too heavy for my tastes. I understand it, but I certainly could have seen it done a bit less aggressively.

Aletheia was awesome. I was wondering where the difficulty was coming in, and then I ran into some really tricky pattern transitions (one of them delivered 0-2-0-1 on me, something that I rarely do on a single mistake). I have a feeling that D5 will be a tight cutoff going into the top 16. One thing that should be noted, though: I feel like the rating is a bit inflated on the song. I personally wonder if the chart should fall somewhere around 75/76, but that's my opinion.

Sleepmix Strikes Back was alright -- relatively fluent with the exception of two sequences of five consecutive jumps (mini-glut?). The bursts are tricky in this song - not all of them can be cheated to jumptrills. However, with a little practice, they're more than manageable.
