http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/....php?f=62&a=52 Note that this announcement is 'sitewide', so this tournament, while not using FFR scores (and as such probably wouldn't use phrase in the red text), also follows the same sort of rules where CHEATING IS WRONG. If it was exclusively for FFR scores, that point would be listed underneath the "FFR The Game Rules", rather than a section above it |

Re: Xiz's Not FFR Tournament
Alright, just read some more of the thread after last time.
Man, saying you didn't cheat and then saying there's nothing in the rules stating not to photoshop is like......................... Others have already said, but yeah. Don't be that guy that tries to find loopholes in logic just because they can get away with it. No one ever likes that guy. Especially since a lot of time they try to find loopholes to get out of trouble instead of pointing it out before they get in trouble. I don't know duder. |

I burst out laughing reading this thread at work, holy shit ssbmchump. I thought you were a cool guy when I came back to FFR last year but you keep repeatedly coming off as a retard, 10/10 idiot.

Re: Xiz's Not FFR Tournament
it's a serious request. you're not in this tournament anymore, because you cheated, and then even tried to play it off, trying to justify your cheating, and trying to continuously (and really badly) hide the fact that you were.

Re: Xiz's Not FFR Tournament
hey, that's cool man. I know the staff and simfile makers put a lot of work into the game, so I think it's cool that people still enjoy playing it.
what does that have to do with you cheating in a flash game tournament now, lying about it after getting caught, and then blaming the host for your own actions after you got kicked? Xiz is trying to put together a fun event for everyone, and you actively made it less fun. public perception shouldn't be the only thing preventing you from doing this. |

Re: Xiz's Not FFR Tournament
I feel its unnecessary to repeat what has already been said, but I see no reason to allow you to continue in this tournament. In regards to you comparing yourself to YoshL, the difference between you two is that YoshL came out and apologized, and admitted to his actions however wrong they were. YoshL learned from his mistakes (which I greatly respect him for) ...you did not. Trying to compare yourself to YoshL just shows your immaturity in this situation.
You know if you would have come out to the thread and just said 'sorry' or 'wont happen again' .... I would have let you back in.... Anyway, this conversation is over.

Re: Xiz's Not FFR Tournament
Ssbmchamp, do you not have any conscience, any set of values, any moral code? Just because someone doesn't tell you that you can't do something, that doesn't make it ok to do. For example, if there wasn't a law written that said "murder is illegal", does that make it morally ok to kill people? No. You should be ethically mature enough to know that cheating (as well as lying which you also did) , in nearly all contexts, is considered a "wrong" thing.
You could go ahead and mention moral relativism to continue to rationalize your behaviour. However, continuously searching for ways to rationalize and justify your behaviour which you know is wrong, in the end, is not going to make you well-liked. |

I'd like to stop all conversation in regards to this matter as of now. I'd like to focus on just the tournament. Thanks everyone.
