oh I can read fine, from what I read bmah simply replied and you hardcore went off defending house music and it went down from there.

Oh and you might feel the same if you have been a house music producer with songs that have 8k+ downloads. But meh that could be just me.

But wouldn't it make more sense to make an account and lurk the forums so you could actually post if you wanted to, rather than just stalking?

I don't care what you have to say Mans0n but House is definitely a sub-genre rather you like it or not. Live with it and stop being so offended about it. Honestly, it's not that big of a deal and if you're going to continue to get butthurt about it, then i would suggest taking it somewhere else rather than here. This is not the thread to be arguing about House music.

i love you i dont care wahat you have to say, seems like your the one that's offended and butthurt, and i never anywhere said anything about it being a big deal, because honestly it doesn't really even matter. I dropped the subject 3 posts ago but plan b brought it back up. i dont really care what anyone thinks about music in general, i was just having a discussion with bmah. if thats a problem then sorry for wanting to voice my opinion. and its not my fault you guys read my posts and blow it out of proportion by saying I'm offended lol. Because i was quite the opposite. I was actually happy to be having an intelligent conversation with someone about something i like.

But seriously what's wrong with classifying something as a subgenre or not? No need to get uptight with it... I don't see how saying "House is a subgenre of techno" is a big threat to you... but you still respond to everyone as if they were insulting you. Yeah you may have your own opinions, but please respect others for their opinions. (or possibly facts since bmah has some valid sources rofl)

Lol, no way in hell is house its own genre... Main genres are: rock, country, techno (pretty much anything electronic goes here), blues, folk, funk, pop, jazz, classical, etc, etc..

There's different subgenres of all of these, for instance Classical has a significantly large breakdown of both instrument and time period. House is just a deviant of techno, sorry.

Okay now you're just trolling lol. I honestly don't see how i was the one offended when bmah was the one who was correct in the first place. Opinions are opinions however your opinion is legitimately wrong. House is a sub genre and it already will be.

1. For being persuasive and constructive, showing some objective sources (definition of real house, etc) is better (it looks you're acting like "I'm an expert of house music so just listen to me".)
2. At least on this game, It's impossible to put "House" as a main genre.
3. Offtopic here, continue on ingame song thread if you want.

rock n roll is not a genre because it is gospel, blues, and country so therefore rock is actually a sub sub-sub sub sub sub sub sub combination genre.

/tired of this everyone has there own opinion on music genre's so therefore everyone is right lets just stfu now like i tried to do earlier but it seemed that it wasn't time for it.

Ohh and yeah JX i wan't getting at house should have its own genre in the game, i kinda figured that wouldn't ever happen because it seems like most of the community doesn't listen to house, or they do but keep it a secret i just want to see house in general, idc if it's in arcade or funk ( though that wud be pretty lol) but it hasn't happened yet and hopefully that will change soon

oops ily u contradicted urself because an if you look up the definition of an opinion you will realize that it doesn't have to be right or wrong because its.. an opinion. i could turn around and say that my opinion is right while yours is wrong like your doing, instead of being the better man and just leaving it alone. But im not because your entitled to your opinion no matter how right or wrong you or other people think it is.

House being its own genre or a sub genre isnt an opinion thing. Its either right or wrong and in this case your "opinion" of it being its own genre is wrong.

jesus christ, way to derail the thread. If you had an issue with the genres of songs that are in/going to be in game, you could have posted it in the Ingame Song Information thread, not clog up the thread that everyone is watching and chatting about their content in.

EDIT: house IS a sub-genre, by the way. it's not of any disrespect to any artists, but anyone who can't realize that house is a sub-genre of electronica music is oblivious to other styles of music within this genre. c'mon now.
