EDIT: Is it okay if I send just the folders, or do they need to be compressed? Sending them as .zips invariably ****s up the offset, and sending as non-compressed folders seems to remedy that issue.

Re: FFR Community Pack Summer 2012 (Submissions Open)
I totes plan on submitting a simfile or two. A few quick questions due to me being rather uninitiated:
-How are pad charts handled? Could a simfile with only pad charts be accepted? -Are you (Mr. Gundam) the pack's sole judge? Could you post a rough set of criteria? -Is there a song length minimum or maximum? -Do you prefer any type of music file format? Any clarification would be much appreciated. Thanks for putting these packs together! I've thoroughly enjoyed the charts I've played from the other versions thus far. Last edited by dAnceguy117; 05-7-2012 at 06:44 PM.. |

My criteria is based on both file flow, structure, and most importantly whether or not I see the file appeal to certain target audiences. I do not care much for technical errors as long as the file flows well and can be enjoyed by the aforementioned audiences. Only blatant objective errors such as incorrect offset and/or incorrect, unintentional note usages will be my main concern in terms of technicality. Overall, I'm reasonably lax, so my standards are not high at all in order to truly involve the community into these projects. Anybody and everybody can submit to these packs. Quote:

I'm most likely going to send one of my Advance Wars files to this pack, I have like 3~ stepped already so I'm fixing each of them up and figuring out which one's the best
If you need any additional judges I wouldn't mind helping you out GD |

Thanks for the timely response, Gundam. That all sounds very reasonable. Guess I'll get crackin' then!

Okay, submitted all the files I hope to have in this pack. Glad to have that done now - hopefully you all will see them on release day.

Bynary's files own pre-Kommi approval (I'm serious pat)
Sending: Fighter X - butterfly Stone mcknuckle - fullmetal fighter And one of my songs. I'll get crackin' once I get home from da magical kingdom Btw pat I'd suggest restricting vbr format songs because they don't function properly in sm5

Re: FFR Community Pack Summer 2012 (Submissions Open)
You should probably vary the pack's name someday, because this is getting redundant

Re: FFR Community Pack Summer 2012 (Submissions Open)
Seeing as how the FFRParty pack is down for now, I'll just send my submissions over here, with a few new easier and/or harder charts. Also, would anyone like to collab on a Girl's Generation song? I swear it's not Gee.

Re: FFR Community Pack Summer 2012 (Submissions Open)
I'll finish something up for this; it'll have a lot of holds and be sorta repetitive. And kommi, I hope you like parades.
