Re: FFR's Newest Deaf Player
for solo you need to download stepmania, change the key configuration to something like q = left w = upper left e = down i = up o = upper right p = right, add songs under the songs folder such that the hierarchy goes Songs/Group Folder/Song Folder/files and then just run it and when you play a game hit right once to go to solo mode. if you're downloading packs then extract to the songs folder, if you're downloading a single song folder extract it to a group folder you make. few other things too like turning event mode on, the menu timer off, adding cmods to the metrics (or downloading a theme that already has cmods set up, like maybe one of xiao's themes?)
packs and singles for solo are here, xiao's beginner packs are obv. the ones to get for beginners if you haven't looked at pop'n music before this might be interesting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0Usi-RBXoc the third song in this is highly erratic but first, second and fourth are fairly well defined (also the song name genre and background give contextual hints :ssh: )

Ah, albaneesk8r, as he was out of line in saying that, I am quite used to it and didn't take any offense. He was simply curious as to how it is done, because he does not know what it's like to be without a single sense. And I appreciate your saying that, it does mean a lot.

When I think about it, I can only perceive you as the modern Beethovan. The only difference being that you were deaf the whole time and you have technology in your hands.

Welcome, sir, to FFR. Hope you stick around!
If you don't mind me asking, how acute have your other senses become?

Re: FFR's Newest Deaf Player
You think that's easy already?!?! Try doing some For Masters Only or For Gurus Only songs.

Re: FFR's Newest Deaf Player
It took me 2.5 years to AAA a For Masters Only song. You must have a lot of background with music and rhythm games to be able to AAA challenging songs easily so quickly!
Edit: I just noticed you also have 2 Very Challenging AAA's. Nice!

Re: FFR's Newest Deaf Player
Music yes, Rhythm games are fairly natural to me, such as Guitar Hero and Stepmania. I wish I could be better, I'll just have to practice.
