It's the most popular simfile in my school. No one plays FFR, but they know FotBB and what it looks like.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
New tourney songs:
Didn't play into the night yet, saw it was challenging and by Rebirth and said nty DMYK: I hated this file. Why? You cut the best part of the song out, making the file just another generic Sharpnel file. Someone needs to step the full version of this, or not at all. Bad song cut/5 The Final Conflict: Stepped correctly, but way understepped for my taste. I played this as my second song of the day and got 11g... I haven't played FFR/SM in a few weeks, and I never had good PA. 3/5 IMO Integraation: Better than the two VC's, but for some reason I feel like the hardest part of the file is the opening... not my cup of tea, but it works so good job. Also, Integraation is the best song on My Downfall IMO so the good song choice helps too. 4/5 Necropotence: Best file by far out of this weeks tourney songs, hard, fast, correctly stepped, not over the top but definitely good use of jumps and stuff I'd definitely play it again and again gj bmah. 4.5/5

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Into the Night - Boring, meh file
DMYK - Insanely generic, also boring and forgettable The Final Conflict - Pretty well-stepped given the song, but the song didn't make for very fun steps IMO. Integraation - Fun file, but bursts seemed to be stepped very inconsistently throughout--at the beginning they were wtf and later on they were stepped as 16ths or something. Do one or the other IMO, the mix didn't work for me. Necropotence - Great file, great energy, a lot of fun, good patterns (and it would have been SO easy to **** that up), best file this week by far IMO.

You can tell when Sulfer started stepping it, because it's suddenly makes you go to sleep and there's no technical detail at all, lol.

Yea, I know why it's that way lol, but that doesn't excuse the inconsistency, just explains it.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
I don't understand the point of doing a collab this way. Why not discuss the file with the other person, instead of one person stepping the first half and the other doing the second half.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Into the Night- gay ending, wtf was that. learn 2 cut songs lol. Not one of rebirth's ultra mega dumps, so I guess that's a plus, but it's nothing remarkable or particularly fun
DMYK- snarpnel... almost fell asleep playing it, no joke. No amount of EW's decent stepping could save this song, genericsnarpnel is just doomed to suck I guess. Final Conflict- sounds very much like a song Virt would do. Sounds like it would be very hard to step, and EW did a great job with it. Solid, fun but not intrusive PR, and just a good enjoyable file. Probably my favorite of these five. Integraation- blu's part is very fun, sorry Sulfer, not everything in all songs falls on the 16th note :/ Sulfer did a decent job with his part, sure, and it's still a fun file to play, but I feel that the two styles clash too much. When compared to blu's technical section, I find Sulfer's part to be a lot less enjoyable. Oh well Necropotence- horrible song, and that's coming from me lol. Decently fun file, the choice of 8th jacks to the drum in some parts but not others was inconsistent and suspect, but I suppose it has to be that way to keep those parts interesting. Either way its not a bad file, just not one of my favorites

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Necropotence is supposed to make your ears bleed, if you haven't noticed already. So that's perfectly normal.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
I'll reserve full judgments on the 5 tourney finals files until after playing them on a good FFR comp, but I will say this now: LGC is the worst file i've played on FFR in a loooooooooong time, how the **** did that get past the judges, it would get a [?] from me now
