Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C3)
upload to imgur yeah
nice consistency session, although Epidermis and Herbie flags were pretty aggravating...kinda wish I could see what my final stats look like without those four or five RATO FC attempts at 4am I'll take a Horde pack (and for some odd reason I'm feeling getting a duplicate card even though I know the chances are astronomically low) Last edited by One Winged Angel; 01-25-2015 at 06:51 PM.. |

If it's a score, you can actually upload to imgur directly by right clicking on the results screen of the R3 engine. |

Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C3)
Card Pack Preference? Otherwise I'm giving you horde
OWA You Have A New Pack! You Tear Open The Package To Reveal: 16 Still Blastin [Light] 46 Keep It Short 16 Lesson 6 bitmapstar 5 Too Tight Your Card Collection Is Now Worth: 3305 Edit:// No one is picking the middle packs this challenge for Tier Two and Tier Three, I was thinking of reworking them slightly in the future Idea: T2 Reroll pack - 3 Cards, "Rerolls" any card with a value 1 or 2 a single time, max 2 rerolls T3 Reroll Platinum - 4 Cards, "Rerolls" any card with a value 1 or 2 a single time, max 3 rerolls Would this be an interesting option for future packs, or would everyone still take the horde pack equivalents? Also, even though people aren't picking it often, I think the platinum pack is fine where it is for those who want higher value collections. It more than doubles your odds of pulling a 10 or 11 as it is (admittedly still small odds, but better). Last edited by TheSaxRunner05; 01-25-2015 at 10:21 PM.. |

Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C3)
The more cards the better, but also rarity cards are keepers.
Maybe if the Horde card packs were only with card levels between 1-6 then people may pick it less

Maybe I just need to shift the other options to 4 cards and 3 cards on the tier 3 list to make them more attractive next challenge |

The re-roll idea is an interesting concept, it would definitely increase the value of the packs for those looking for higher tier cards. However if everyone is gunning for the horde, it might just be that most are going after quantity over quality. I suppose this could be tested by having a "blue pack" for each tier (4/6/8 cards with a max rarity like 7) and seeing what happens. It might also be that the rare cards don't really have an advantage over the lower tier varieties at the moment. Perhaps if cards over a certain tier (let's say 8) were allowed to be auctioned off to another player at a minimum 100% of it's credit worth, rare card seekers could sink credits into the venture. This would give the credit value use, and could also make rare cards more desirable for people who want credits. It's probably a bit early to see large transactions, but if this lasts for a while I think people might really get into it.

Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C3)
You have a very interesting idea I'll have to think about
While users would be able to buy their way into a good collection, so can normal card game users. If we allowed cards to be traded at card value over a certain point, maybe unopened packs could be traded too? It would make the game more interactive but also allow for a user to be able to through their weight around with credits and buy their way to the top as well. I'll really have to think about it |
