Here's your tutorial that you wanted! I couldn't PM it to you because it was too long (over 5,000 characters) so I guess I'll post it here.

So to whoever wants to learn how to make Animated Signatures like mine, go ahead and keep reading this tutorial!

And feel free to post this anywhere else. Just make sure that anywhere it mentions me writing this, because this really took me forever to write.

~Tutorial: Animated Signatures~

On a side note, I'm not that good at making tutorials so just bear with me D:

On another side note, I made this tutorial while doing it myself so you can follow along if you want.

If you'd like to follow along go ahead and open both the following two programs:

I. What you will need:
Programs
-Vegas Pro / Vegas Movie Studio (Trial is fine, MUST BE VERSION 11 (or higher))
-Adobe Photoshop
Files
-The signature image (512x160)
-The animated gif file that will be on top of the signature image (see section II)
Other
-a LOT of patience!

II. Resizing the gif:
Okay. If the animated gif you want is not 512x160, you need to make it 512x160 as you're going to take that gif file and put it on top of the 512x160 signature. But it's not easy to do and it takes a long time because what you're doing is taking EACH frame of the gif and saving it to an individual file... well you'll see here.
So here we go:

III. Starting:

PART 1: Sony Vegas

Go ahead and open Sony Vegas if you haven't at this point.

Drag and drop your gif file into Vegas's timeline shown by the red circle.

Go to File, Project Properties, and change the fields to this and then click OK.

Select the preview quality as Best (Full).

Go ahead and click save snapshot to file.

(You have to do this because it will transform the gif into 512x160)

Save the file as whatever you want, preferably the name of your gif then 1 after it. For example I put rainbowdash-1. SET IT AS A .PNG FILE

Go ahead and zoom in the timeline (to do this, move your mouse cursor in the timeline and use the mousewheel. Alternatively you can put click and drag the horizontal scrollbars along the timeline to zoom in / out).

Click the next frame button.

Save it as the second file as shown, and repeat steps 7 and 8 until all your frames are completed.

Now delete the gif from the timeline by clicking on it and pressing the DEL key. At this point there should be nothing in the timeline.

In the project media tab there should be all of your saved screenshots. Drag and drop each frame onto the timeline in order. Make them each 1 frame long. (an easy way to do this is to zoom in the timeline so that you can see enough timeline for the whole gif. insert the first picture at frame 00. move the cursor to frame 01 and press S (to split the clip). then press DEL to delete the rest of the clip, leaving the frame at 1 frame long. then insert the next picture after the one before it, click the next frame, press S and then delete the rest. Keep doing this until all your frames have been completed.)

Once you've finished, go back to the beginning and click the button at the bottom outlined by the red circle. Then on the first frame, click the little box, outlined by another red circle.

You can change the X Center and Y Center values to change the position of the gif file in the 512x160 area. Changes can be seen in the preview window. Imagine the signature image below your gif.

You can save a preset for the values, as shown here. I will be using the preset. IF YOU SAVE A PRESET, MAKE SURE YOU CLICK THE LITTLE FLOPPY DISK SAVE ICON AFTER YOU TYPE IN THE PRESET NAME OR ELSE YOUR PRESET WILL NOT SAVE!

Use the preset for each frame, or if you didn't use a preset, keep entering the same values for each frame. (To select the preset, just click the dropdown menu and select your preset.)

Once every frame has been set to the position, go back to the beginning (1) and press play to see the output preview in the preview window (2), then press stop (3).

Now here's the actual preview. Go ahead and insert the signature image on a layer below the frames (Drag and drop).

Once you have played it back again and you're ready, go up top to "File" and "Render As...".

Choose the MainConcept AVC/AAC .mp4 type. Don't choose the other .mp4 type, I've had several problems with it.
Expand the section to view templates. Choose any templates (I'll choose the first one) then click "Customize Template."

Then set the values as shown and then hit Ok.

Set the name of the file and then click Render.

Once the render has finished, click Open folder. Once it opens the folder you can click close and then exit Sony Vegas.

Whew, that was a lot, wasn't it? Well here's the second part. But don't worry, it's not as time consuming!

PART 2: Photoshop
WHEN YOU EXPORT IT AS A GIF, MAKE SURE A LOOPING FOREVER OPTIONAL IS ENABLED. I'M USING CS3 BUT THE OPTION MIGHT BE AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION IN DIFFERENT VERSIONS.

THIS IS THE MOST DIFFICULT STEP OF ALL:

Open Photoshop.

GASP, THAT'S SO DIFFICULT!

Open the folder that contains your rendered .mp4 from Vegas and drag the .mp4 file into Photoshop. YES, drag the .mp4 file.

At the top, go to Window, then select Animation if it's not checked already.

In the animation window, click the button that's circled in this picture:

Click Flatten Frames into Layers.

Find the original layer containing the .mp4 file (in this case, Layer 1) and delete that layer.

Make sure that your time is at the beginning. Then click the button that you clicked before then click "Make Frames from Layers."

Now to go File, Save for Web & Devices

Set the filetype to GIF and MAKE SURE YOU SET THE LOOPING OPTION TO FOREVER, OTHERWISE IT WILL ONLY PLAY ONCE AND NOT LOOP

Then click save.

Choose your save destination and your filename, click Save and then you're FINISHED!

IV. Getting the signature.
Well, I'm pretty sure you know how to set your signature. Just upload the gif to a photo sharing website. Take the URL and go here:
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...=editsignature
Then type this (no spaces):
[ IMG][ /IMG]
and then paste your url in between like this (no spaces):
[ IMG]http://www.thewebsite.com/image.png[ /IMG]
[ IMG]http://www.thewebsite.com/image.gif[ /IMG]

Then click "Save signature."

And there you have it! You have an animated signature! I hope this tutorial helped.
