I don't quadmash. I do the first set of single jacks like normal, I do the 2nd set like doubles (in order to get it when it goes llllllll(l+d)dddddd etc) then I do the final set like they are supposed to be done (l+r x about 7?, u+d etc) then I hit the last little bit easily to get a start on a combo.

I don't mash on songs too much unless they are retarded like System Oni or DM edit or something. Hell even in amber shores I don't mash and can get near a 200 combo, still can't pass haha, I just take all the bits in Amber Shores as alternating doubles, so it's modified mashing but still hitting correctly at times.

definitely one of the best games for N64 IMO, up there with SM64, SSB, and Ocarina, or Goldeneye if you like shooters.

not to be off topic about the whole paper mario thing, but what the hell is my extremely old, off-sync, terrible, monty-python simfile doing in the brag board? that was my first simfile ever, and i dont even make simfiles anymore (you can probably tell why), i just found this surprising. (im talking about the sit on my face simfile BTW)

Try a lowest level game, it's pretty interesting. Lowest level when you finish the game is 7.

Then you can try a low level no healing challenge (other than obligatory healings, of course), if you want. For hardcore players only.

It's almost being AAA'd is what it is. The only reason I posted it up is because it is so insanely difficult to be accurate on that getting 1 great felt like an accomplishment.
