Eagles peak, pictures inside

Climbed Eagles Peak today, not too bad, like 1.80 something miles 2500 or so feet up.

I've never climbed any mountains or big hills before, my dad is so overprotective, he'd probably think i'd slip and fall off the mountain vertically like in some cartoon or something hah

It's not too bad. Coming down was more dangerous, but going up was physically harder.

It's just annoying walking up a slope, making a u-turn, then walking up another. And again, and again, and again.

I have almost fallen off a mountain before 8) it's fun

No, I honestly can't remember. I think I've seen a picture of you exactly once, and it was at least a year and a half ago.

My first inclination was that you had the AF hat but then I figured this was probably an AF-sponsored trip.

AF sponsered trip? It's not a sponsered trip at all, we just decided to go up there during the weekend, and we're all going to the Air Force Academy.

Well, maybe "sponsored" wasn't the right word, but I figured you guys were all in the AF.

Yeah, pretty much dude. It wasn't that bad, we're doing another peak next weekend and skydiving the weekend after that. I'm pretty hyped up about the skydiving.

You're so lucky. I would do anything to go skydiving. I think it would be absolutely amazing to see everything as you're floating down through the sky.

It's a program too at the Academy. You can get your Jumpmaster qualification. I know guys who have over 4000 jumps.
