Max. Period on DDR Extreme Home version.

Is it possible to play Max. on Extreme for PS2? If so, how?

No. Get an X-Box or download it for stepmania.

I can do The Legend of Max also, but I don't have the physical energy and exertion to play any heavy levels. I play one heavy level, then I won't be able to play DDR for another 3 days.

Max.(Period) is on Japanese Extreme for ps2. You unlock it by passing extra stage (I doubt anyone can), or play a certain amount of songs until you have it.

If you were talking about the American extreme, no you can not unlock it.
