Default V for Vendetta

Oh my god this movie was so amazing. I am going to describe this the best I can without spoiling anything. This movie is the most amazing movie I have ever seen. It is the epitomy of ass-kickery. It is certainly a must see. It will appeal to both intellectuals, and dumb people who enjoy gratuitous explosions. This movie will astound you in every way. If you do not enjoy this movie, you may as well kill yourself.

I'm intrigued by the trailers, I may see this at one point, if I feel like it.

The description reminded me of 1984, but when I saw the trailer... wow.

Remember remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot...

Brilliant movie. Amazing. Can't say much else. But it was amazing.

Believe it or not, they had to leave out some of the subplots from the Alan Moore comic for time reasons. I think it's better to see the movie before reading the comic.

God, if only it weren't raining, I would have seen the movie already. I might organize a trip with some friends for tomorrow right now to see this movie. I WANT TO SEE IT SO BAD.

Excellent movie. Complex.

I disagree with Mead on someone enjoying it purely for the fights + exploding buildings. The intricate plot was too integral to the enjoyment of the movie to just like it for the gore. Plus, there were not enough scenes with people dying to make it worthwhile just for that.

The V alliteration in the beginning of the movie was awesome. I'd love a transcript of that.

Once again, I get reminded of how much I love the 1812 Oveture. I will have to request it tonight on my show.

I know he had his name removed from the credits because the producers messed with the overall message of the story.

The first time they played the 1812 Overture I was like "Best use of this song ever."

It was, for lack of a better word, amazing.

"This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished, as the once vital voice of the verisimilitude now venerates what they once vilified. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-à-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V."

It sucks. Horribly. How could anyone like this garbage?

Note: I haven't seen it and never will. Anyone that does is an ignorant sheep. Go back to jacking off over GTA.

It was an okay movie, better than i expected. But, I was expecting a
pretty bad movie due to it being made from a comic, and then hearing
the author took his name off the project. But it was pretty good. I'm
worried that lots of people will get the message confused as, "anarchy ahoy"
or somwthing. But certainly a good movie. I was scared by the V alliteration
in the beginning 'cuz I thought that he was gonna talk like that for the
whole movie.

People in my tech class said it sucked. They also said The Hills Have Eyes was a great movie.

I think I'd rather trust your opinions, since, you know, they're all retarded.

If some one makes a thread for one movie and not another one, you know which one is better, Hans.
PS Horror movies are crap unless they're psychological thrillers.

Alan Moore is a whiny bitch that doesn't realize that not all stories can be as long or boring as Sin City. While I really liked Sin City, the comics, after seeing the movie, made me realize that I wasted my money, when I could have easily, easily just bought the comic or seen the movie. It was too direct of a translation. I prefer when the films take liberties to make the story more... film-like.

Stylistically, THHE was excellent. There was a great buildup of tension, some excellent characters, and bizarre villains. Not a great movie, but a great horror movie done right.

Saw it on saturday. Very well put together, everything was tied up nicely. Excellent movie.

I'm suprised the citizens could be so close to an explosion.
