I just saw it AGAIN. AHAHAHAHAHA! Noticed some stuff they did that I didn't notice the first time, cool stuff. Still, there's something weird about an asian speaking in an Irish accent....

Meh, I thought it was OK. I went in with a cynical mind and came out with all the bad things. =/ After reading the book, I felt that the movie could have been a lot better done, but they took out a lot of things and introduced the "Hermione is hot" subtext (which, admittedly, was hard to avoid), and that doesn't appear until the fifth book. It gets a solid B in my book.

C+ They took way too many liberties and just completely ripped out major things involving the characters that weren't Harry. The only really good thing is that they got George and Fred almost right.

But the book was 600 pages. Gotta give 'em some of a break.

Yeah, and they also left some rather important stuff out. for example, not once throughout the entire movie do they mention that the girl with whom Hermione hangs out is Ginny (not to mention the fact that her hair isn't red) -- if someone hadn't seen the previous movies or read the book, they would be mystified.

Just saw this today. I thought it was the best movie in the series. Definitely very enjoyable.

It was wonderful. If you want the basic story, you'll see the movie. If you want the full awesome action packed version, read the book.

A solid B+ in my book. It skipped on a lot which made me mad, but it was much better than the third. First and second are still my favorite though.

They give me a look of intrigue. So I continue. "You know, those totally hot chicks in blue? They were Athens! And the badass russian guys? They were Sparta! Didn't you guys notice?"

That's the part I am not getting. I read 1, 2, 3 and 4, but I just thought they were kind of lame. I guess I'm just not into happy feel good bad guys loses good guy wins books. Especially ones that are geared towards younger audiences.

You know what's gonna happen? Harry eventually grows up and kills Voldemort. That is the jist of the entire series.

Varia, go read the 5th and 6th and those may slightly change your outlook on the books. The first 4 were directed to younger kids somewhat because he was one of those younger kids. The 6th and 7th should supply you with some feel bad bad guy wins and good guy wins feeling.
