The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
So, yeah, I've got it pre-ordered at E.B. Games and I'm waiting for it to release next year. In the mean time, I've been watching trailers, reading magazines, and looking at screens for TLOZ:TTP. It's gonna kill me before it gets here.
All I really want to know is: Who else is getting it? -Link

I've had it preordered for about 4 and a half months now. Well, fully paid for 4 and a half months ago. I officially preordered it about 8 months ago.

I preordered a copy about 4 months ago...I was shocked to hear that Twilight Princess was delayed for a year. Hopefully, I won't forget about it.
Nah, since the game is going to be great, I won't. But it's such a long time unitl we can get it... ;_;

The 3D Zeldas aren't all they're cracked up to be. I guess I'll get this one when it comes out, but it probably won't be that great.

lol. moogs is funny. arguably one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time..."meh, it's not that great" And the crazy thing is that I agree with him to some extent..ALTTP is still my favorite game of all time....Oh, and Eyoshi, it wasn't delayed a year, it was simply delayed until next year, around march or april...so delayed 4-5 months.

Yes, Link to the Past was the best Zelda in my opinion. The N64 Zeldas were laughable, and the Gamecube ones weren't any better. However, this one does look like it should be the best of the 3D ones. Too bad I'm poor and I don't even own a Gamecube.

I'm gonna get it, but i don't believe in pre-ordering games.
It's like studying for test. A test where you can keep the book open during it.

I just use it as a budgeting mechanism. I have an extra 5 dollars in my pocket, I put some more down on Twilight Princess. Works out rather nicely.
My only gripe with the 3D zelda's is that they're much too easy.

Where do you live? You should start forcing people to play ALttP as well as OoT...What a terrible terrible city.

Zelda: Majoras Mask was the best...
Anyways...My cousin is most likely getting it for his cube, and I'll borrow it when he's done with it, that's what I always do. |

Even if Twilight Princess was easy compared to the previous ones, I'd still get it. I loved what I saw in the trailer, and even from the demo, the game has recieved praise.

And on topic: I won't buy this game. It looks pretty good, but I will not buy a GC for it. On the franchise as a whole: Overrated, like, by a gigantic freaking amount. The games are good, but they don't deserve the worship they gain. I think it's mostly masses of Nintendo Fanboys clawing to find a decent game for their system. @Suicidal Muskrat: Critically acclaimed means nothing. If you only buy the games magazines tell you to buy, you will miss out on a lot of really fun games. |

I really didn't like LttP. I prefer Link's awakening, but whatever floats your boat.
Yea, I'll get it, might as well. |

Critically acclaimed means something. I haven't played many (if any) games which garnered 9's or higher across the board and not had fun. I also put more meaning into them because most of my favorite games also have achieved critical success. So, vice versa, if you don't read the magazines, you may end up missing some great games, and playing some terrible ones.
But, this is a stupid argument. I hardly buy any new games now anyways...I have at least 300 games, and I haven't even beaten quite a few of them. So I buy from the bargain bin, and replay old games...
