UNFORTUNATELY, I lost the site that had the hundreds of (printable) diplomacy maps and varients, rules of play, etcetera. But for the moment, Wikipedia will give you the gist--though I wish they had the map with the full names, not just the three-letter abbreviations.

I have played it only in person, and it works really well. It might be good through message boards/AIM, too. We oughta give it a shot.

Oh, no, nothing is turn based, nothing is random (except for drawing what country you are).

The only correlation is that there is subjugation in it.
