prepare to be disappointed
good is pretty subjective, I think there's some really fun charts in here though |

Re: Skwid & Wafles' Dump Pack (Submissions Welcome)
if notecharting is a subjective interpretation of a piece of music then a "dump" is just notecharting on the more liberal end of the interpretation spectrum
there's no reason that "dumps" can't be imaginative, dynamic, fun, and well crafted (rhythmically-sensical), just as there's no reason that there can't be strictly technical interpretations of a song that are boring and unplayable (of which there are very, very many) |

Re: Skwid & Wafles' Dump Pack (Submissions Welcome)
btw this pack is much more along the lines of a collection of files that are intended to be a fun challenge rather than really creative and inventive dump files (though there are several examples of the latter in the pack anyway), just prepare for variety I guess

Edited my file, sent email.
btw made the difficulty an 18, you can edit that if needed could definitely be a bit lower? Last edited by NeonSM; 03-15-2014 at 11:52 PM.. |

Re: Skwid & Wafles' Dump Pack (Submissions Welcome)
(Fanta) Day To Live (again) - Still hard as shit and kind of obnoxious. I'll take it as is now that its been cut and the 48ths massively toned down though. Still one hell of a boss file.
(Neon SM) Talk Dirty to Me - 55.633 still feels understepped but this is a lot closer now. Fix that and I'll take it. (Choof) So Deep - I'll take it as is but yeah you should tone down the ending just a touch. The difficulty spike might piss people off who would otherwise be able to AAA. (ddrballer123) Through The Fire - is this an index file? its really nothing but trills for like a minute and a half so I'm not really feeling it sorry, reject :/. Also throws errors when trying to play it in some version of SM so thats a big nope anyway. (Billium Moto) Vanitas - If you tried to make something less gay than the SMOC8 version it didn't quite work out. http://puu.sh/7y4Ze.png cut out these grace note things, they're obnoxious. The fact that you made sure they all landed on the gray notes doesnt even make them playable as grace notes, and even still they're so close toegether that they're basically no chord cohesion hands at this speed. If you just take all those 192nds and put them on the beat and cut the grace notes out I'll take it. The little flairs like at 45.73s are okay to have as these color theory notes but the rest need to go IMO. Some of the rolls are also a bit overkill, if nothing else tone down the very last one. Finally, the last note of the file should be a jump, its also a few milliseconds late. Really hope you touch this up slightly because it looks like you spent a lot of time on this file. |
